Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Orion Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ike Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
21 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Orion Cook! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
25 - 11 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ike Turner! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Chad Campbell and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nice shot lands for Turner. Turner scores with a leg kick.
Turner has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Cook is landing a low percentage of strikes. A jab from Turner finds it's way through Cook's defenses. Cook takes a shot right to the bread basket. Turner jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.
Turner jabs Cook to the body, keeping him at a distance. Good exchange - Turner coming out on top. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Turner. Cook takes one to the side of the head.
Turner fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Cook. Turner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook checks a low kick from Turner. Turner keeps the fight on the outside. Cook tries for a takedown but Turner circles away easily and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Turner fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Cook has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Turner will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Cook staying out of range there. Turner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Ike Turner seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Turner tries a head kick but it misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a sloppy head kick and Cook moves out of range easily. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Cook checks a leg kick. Turner misses with a lunging right hand
and Cook counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Cook. Cook lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Turner backwards. Cook goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Turner escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Turner swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Cook gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Turner scoring well with a low kick there.
Cook moves out of range of the body kick.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a series of punches but Cook moves out of range. Turner connects with a right hand. Cook shakes it off. Some wild striking there from Turner.
Turner lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Turner throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Turner sizes up Cook with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Turner throws a right and a left that Cook avoids nicely. Turner does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

He turned his hip over nicely there. Turner dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Turner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Cook closes the distance and clinches up with Turner, looking for a takedown. Cook pushes Turner against the cage but Turner circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Cook takes a swing at Turner's ribcage but misses. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Turner with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Turner moves out of range of the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ike Turner dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Nice jab there from Turner. Turner lands a really nice looking cross but Cook seems unphased.
Ike Turner seems to be getting the better of the standup. Turner misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Turner lands a leg kick that knocks Cook off balance momentarily. Turner fakes with the hands and throws a leg kick but Cook is out of range. Turner throws a leg kick but Cook moved away. An inside leg kick from Turner misses. Turner tried to score with a low kick but Cook checks it. Turner connects with a leg kick. Cook looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it. Turner looks for the body kick but Cook saw that one coming.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cook slips under a jab. Cook uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Turner.
Cook looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Cook doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cook doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Turner circles away from the clinch attempt.
Turner misses with the combination.
Turner thumps Cook with a low kick. Turner throws a lazy head kick and Cook counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Turner's guard now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner wants to stand up but Cook is controlling him. Turner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Cook. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Cook missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cook postures up and lands a big shot to Turner's brow. Cook won't allow Turner to get back to his feet. Cook in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Cook postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cook throws a big elbow that misses. Cook throws a big right hand that misses. Cook throws a big right hand that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cook throws a big right hand that misses. Cook has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Cook postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Cook throws an elbow that misses. Turner uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Cook's guard. Nice move by Turner! Turner stopping the sweep attempt from Cook. Cook had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Turner defends it easily. Cook looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Cook thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
Turner is trying to stand. Turner is in a horrible position here, under a barrage of strikes, he's managing to avoid any damage.
Cook with shots to the head and body - Turner looks very uncomfortable down there. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cook doesn't seem bothered though. Turner connects with a right hand. Cook shakes it off. Turner ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Cook moves away. Turner looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Cook misses with a takedown attempt and Turner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Turner throws a quick inside leg kick. Cook checks the leg kick. A big right from Turner misses. A nice leg kick lands there from Turner. Turner tests Cook's chin there with a solid looking shot. Turner misses with a low kick.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Turner throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Good leg kick by Turner there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Turner feints a jab promting Cook to slip. Turner then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Cook slips again and ducks right into an uppercut. Turner feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Cooks jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Cook drops his hands momentarily and Turner takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Turner throws a hook but Cook blocks it. Ike Turner is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Turner connects with a body shot that sends Cook's belly button to the back. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Turner jabs Cook to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Turner lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Turner stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Turner cracks a nice hook into Cook's ribs. Turner scores with a leg kick.
Jab, jab by Turner - just one landing. Cook misses with a takedown attempt and Turner cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. A head kick misses from Turner. Turner lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cook misses with a looping left. Cook uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Turner. Turner throws a jab but it's blocked by Cook. Sloppy strikes from Turner. Those never looked like landing. Cook takes a shot right to the bread basket. Turner scoring well with a low kick there.
Turner wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cook tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Turner swivels and escapes. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Orion Cook. That's going to take a lot out of him. Turner connects with a leg kick. Cook looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
And that's the end of the fight! Ike Turner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Turner has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
