Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Boyd McGuire (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ricky White (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McGuire comes to the cage accompanied by Five Finger Death Punch - The Way Of The Fist. White has chosen Chelsea Dagger as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

7 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ricky White!
The judges for this bout are Jorge Garcia, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire has his takedown stuffed
and White counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by White.
McGuire swings wildly with an uppercut but White uses good head movement to avoid it.
Both fighters working to control the clinch.
White prevents McGuire from breaking the clinch.
McGuire doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
White lands a left hand.
McGuire doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from White.
McGuire misses with a shot to the kidneys.
McGuire lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of White backwards.
McGuire doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
White breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McGuire does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

and White makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick.
White digs a good body shot into McGuire's ribs.

McGuire moves out of range of the body kick.
White throws a good cross that connects.
White tries to clinch but McGuire moves away
so McGuire counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
White has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

White might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control McGuire haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
White wants to sweep here but McGuire controlling him for the moment.
McGuire is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! White is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! White has escaped and now he's on top!

White throws an elbow that misses. McGuire uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in White's guard. Nice move by McGuire!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

White lands a really nice looking cross but McGuire seems unphased.

White looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? McGuire is fending him off so far but White persists. Nope, McGuire circles away and we're back to standing.
Boyd McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ricky White.
McGuire takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
White lunges at McGuire with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by McGuire's hand.

McGuire shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in White's guard.
White can't keep his opponent in guard - McGuire advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

White is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGuire's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGuire's back!
