Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chisulo Kalagho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Salvatore Bonnano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Salvatore Bonnano was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kalagho feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kalagho is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Kalagho advances position into side control!
Kalagho goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Bonnano has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Kalagho but great work by Bonnano.
Kalagho gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
Bonnano wants to lay and pray for a moment but Kalagho keeps working.
Kalagho slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Kalagho tries to land a sweep but no joy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kalagho is on top in guard.

We've been hearing that Kalagho has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Kalagho is persistently looking for the submission but Bonnano is defending it well.
Will Kalagho go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

Kalagho really has the hooks in deep now - there seems like no escape for Bonnano.
Bonnano really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Kalagho. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Kalagho is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Bonnano has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

Kalagho has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Bonnano.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Kalagho is looking for the choke from the back position but Bonnano is controlling his hands well.

Kalagho passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Bonnano!
Kalagho has control of Bonnano's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Bonnano regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Kalagho wants to take Bonnano's back but he can't do it this time.

Chisulo Kalagho overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Bonnano is being controlled on the ground here - he must escape this position otherwise surely the end is near.
Bonnano is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Kalagho gets his way!
Kalagho looking to break Bonnano's wrist control so he can sink in the choke. Bonnano remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Kalagho will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke!
