Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jun Moroba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marvin Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
13 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jun Moroba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Marvin Perez! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Franklyn Lucas and Bruno Lombardi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moroba uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Perez. Perez shoots in looking for a takedown but Moroba manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Perez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Perez pushing out the jab but it's not landing. A looping hook to the body misses from Moroba. Perez does a little dance to reset his feet. Perez loads up on a big right hand but Moroba slips the punch. Perez misses with a wild body shot. Perez tries to move into range but Moroba moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. A chopping leg kick lands by Moroba. Perez will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Perez scores with a jab to the body. Perez shoots in looking for a takedown but Moroba manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Perez's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Perez with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Moroba to score with a decent uppercut. Perez clobbers Moroba with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Perez takes a kick to the body and keeps moving. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Moroba slips a straight right by Perez.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moroba tries to score a power double leg takedown but Perez sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Moroba somewhat. Moroba tries to close the distance and clinch but Perez swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Marvin Perez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Perez misses with an uppercut. Moroba saw that one coming. Perez misses with a hook. Moroba ducked under it nicely. Moroba connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Moroba rushes Perez and presses him up against the cage. Perez lands on the inside with an uppercut. Moroba lands a damaging elbow. Perez has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moroba avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Jun Moroba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Marvin Perez. Moroba drops down looking for an ankle pick but Perez pulls his leg out and moves away.
Perez lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

Perez throws a hook to the side of Moroba's head but Moroba sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Perez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Moroba was covering up waiting for the punch and Perez finishes the takedown easily into guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Perez wants to control from the top but Moroba keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Perez postures up and lands a big shot to Moroba's brow. Perez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Perez trying to control but Moroba is working from the bottom. Perez cracks Moroba with a solid left hand. Perez lands a couple of decent looking shots.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Perez postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Perez stopping the sweep attempt from Moroba. Perez wants to pass the guard but Moroba is keeping the position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perez stands up over Moroba, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marvin Perez dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Perez tries a low kick but Moroba avoids it. A big right from Perez misses. Moroba shoots for a double leg takedown but Perez sprawls well. He's pushed Moroba's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Moroba thumps Perez with a low kick. Perez swings and misses with a shot to the body and Moroba counters with a single leg into guard. Perez didn't expect that. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Moroba trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Perez manages to land a sweep and now he's on top! Perez throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Perez missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Perez with a flurry of punches that miss. Moroba has his hands on Perez's head, controlling the position. Perez chips away with some ground and pound. Moroba controls Perez momentarily but Perez frees himself. Perez must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Moroba bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Perez's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Perez keeping moving, preventing Moroba from controlling successfully. Perez is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Moroba is controlling him. Perez is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Moroba trying to control the position from guard on top but Perez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moroba wants to pass the guard but Perez is keeping the position.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jun Moroba wasn't doing enough on the ground. Perez throws a right hand that misses
and Moroba counters with a shoot takedown. Perez fights it but they end up in guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Perez has momentary wrist control but Moroba slips an elbow through the middle. Perez manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Moroba manages to get himself to full guard.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Moroba is trying to control the position from the bottom.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Moroba misses with a head shot. Moroba dominating with strikes here. Moroba looking to control but Perez is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Perez is trying to escape the mount.

Jun Moroba dominated that second round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Perez fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Marvin Perez seems to be getting the better of the standup. Perez swings for the body but Moroba moves out of range.
An inside leg kick from Perez misses. Perez will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Perez attempts a low kick but it misses it's target. Perez thows a left - swing and a miss! Moroba throws out a leg kick but Perez moves out of range and Moroba only half commits. Perez misses with a looping right. Moroba scores with a jab to the jaw. Perez thuds his right hand into Moroba's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters. Moroba misses with a left hand and Perez counters with a straight right hand. Moroba jabs Perez to the body, keeping him at a distance.
That's one minute gone in the round. A low kick from Perez misses and Moroba counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Moroba. Perez has momentary wrist control but Moroba slips an elbow through the middle. Perez keeping moving, preventing Moroba from controlling successfully. Moroba stopping the sweep attempt from Perez. Perez keeps trying to improve his position. Moroba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Perez swivels though and keeps the full guard. Jun Moroba overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Perez uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Moroba's guard. Nice move by Perez! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Perez trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Moroba pulls Perez in close to his closed guard and prevents Perez from doing any damage or advancing position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Jun Moroba just wasn't active enough. Perez connects with a looping right hand.
Perez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Moroba as he avoids it easily. Moroba waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perez. Perez misses with an uppercut. Moroba saw that one coming. Perez misses with a combination
and Moroba counters with a nice double leg into side control. Perez won't be happy with that. Moroba is looking to take a break and control but Perez is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Perez is working to avoid the ground and pound but Moroba connects with a decent elbow.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Perez is letting Moroba control him for a moment. Perez tries to improve position but can't. Moroba trying to control the position but Perez is working away. Moroba in side control, just content to control the action for now. Moroba fails to land a wild elbow strike.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Perez takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
And that's the end of the fight! Jun Moroba showed his dominance in that final round. I think Moroba has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
