Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Azelja Kajin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Lawless (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lawless has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Adam Lawless has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Azelja Kajin! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Adam Lawless! The judges for this bout are Franklyn Lucas, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kajin instigates a clinch. Lawless wants to break free but Kajin has control.
Lawless tries to land knees in the clinch but Kajin avoids the damage to the body. Lawless letting Kajin take a breather here. Lawless is trying to break free. Lawless is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Kajin gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Kajin prevents Lawless from improving his position. Lawless is refusing to be controlled, as Kajin sits in half guard. Kajin is thwarting Lawless's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawless is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Kajin is staying active. Kajin controlling the action here. Kajin trying to pass the guard but Lawless defending well. Kajin sitting and controlling from the half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Lawless is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Kajin's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Kajin's back! Kajin turns into Lawless and is now in his guard.
Lawless is trying to hold Kajin in close to prevent damage but Kajin has managed to pass into half guard.
Lawless wants to get back to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawless pushes Kajin off and gets back to his feet. Kajin tries to clinch but Lawless is having none of it. Lawless is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Lawless looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Kajin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Kajin fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lawless moves out of range as Kajin throws a body kick.
Lawless will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Lawless stuffs the takedown. Kajin throws a right and a left that both miss. Kajin bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Lawless wants to control but Kajin postures up. Lawless looks gassed! Lawless gets back to half guard. Kajin is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Lawless has one foot on Kajin's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Azelja Kajin dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Lawless is looking to clinch. Kajin gets a takedown into half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Lawless wants to get back to full guard. Lawless regains full guard. Nicely done. Kajin won't allow Lawless to sweep him here.
That's one minute gone in the round. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Lawless holds on and takes a little breather. Lawless is breathing heavily. Kajin avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Kajin controls from within his opponent's guard. Kajin pushing down on Lawless's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Kajin in particular looking to stall. Kajin seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Lawless does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kajin gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Lawless with a lazy takedown attempt and Kajin counters with a single leg into guard. Lawless didn't expect that. Kajin gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Lawless takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Kajin shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Kajin prevents Lawless from getting the reversal. Azelja Kajin overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Lawless tries to control the position but Kajin now has his back.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Kajin controls the action. Kajin tries to get the hooks in deep but Lawless pushed the leg off. Lawless rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Kajin is keen to just control but Lawless is a slippery customer. Kajin takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Azelja Kajin dominated that second round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Lawless fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Kajin sprawls well initially but Lawless persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Kajin wants to improve his position but Lawless is controlling well.
Kajin keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Kajin is trying is best to control the position here. Lawless moves nicely into side control. Kajin manages to work his way to half guard, despite Lawless's best efforts. Both fighters are breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lawless wants to control but Kajin is keeping him busy. Kajin works his way to full guard. Good work. Lawless is looking to advance position but Kajin has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount! Kajin is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Lawless avoids the head kick by Kajin.
Kajin closes the distance and clinches up with Lawless, looking for a takedown. Kajin pushes Lawless against the cage but Lawless circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Kajin gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Lawless.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kajin moves in looking to clinch but Lawless pushes him off. Kajin is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Lawless. Lawless tries to clinch but Kajin moves out of range. Lawless closes the distance looking to clinch and Kajin counters with a three punch combo that has Lawless backing up. Lawless nods at Kajin to acknowledge the strikes. Lawless tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kajin throws a right and a left that Lawless avoids nicely. Lawless with a lazy takedown attempt and Kajin holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Lawless is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Kajin pulls him back up using the underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lawless is pressed up against the cage. Kajin has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Lawless down to the mat. Lawless avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lawless drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Lawless must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kajin manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

That's four minutes gone in the round. Kajin is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Kajin misses with a takedown and Lawless counters with a one-two to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Azelja Kajin. That's going to take a lot out of him. Lawless closes the distance but Kajin moves to the side and Kajin moves into the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Azelja Kajin. Well Kajin has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
