Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between James Proudstar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arvydas Sabonis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Proudstar comes into the arena with On the Warpath blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, Colin Fotheringham and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sabonis misses with a wild body shot.
Proudstar tries to land a front kick but Sabonis steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Proudstar finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.

Sabonis has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.

Proudstar really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

A close round but Arvydas Sabonis will probably get the nod.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
