Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jon Snow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamie Vaughan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Snow comes to the cage accompanied by I know, Right?. Jamie Vaughan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Snow! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jamie Vaughan! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Dmitry Maklakov and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snow shoots and misses and Vaughan counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Snow's guard now. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Snow wants to stand up but Vaughan is controlling him. Vaughan slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Vaughan passes Snow's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Vaughan is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jamie Vaughan was stalling too much, according to the referee. Vaughan lands with an overhand left. Snow swings widly with a right hand
and Vaughan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Vaughan takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position. Vaughan's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Vaughan looking to pass the half guard. Not this time.
That's two minutes gone in the round. It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup. Snow is looking for a sweep. Vaughan is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. This has been an exciting period of action! Snow trying to control here.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Snow goes for a double leg but Vaughan avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Vaughan continues to drive forward. Vaughan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Vaughan scores with a punch to the head. Vaughan avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Vaughan decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Vaughan is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Snow has managed to free his arm - good work. Vaughan is nestled in close to Snow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vaughan is trying to work for a kimura but Snow is defending well.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Vaughan is keen to just control but Snow is a slippery customer. Vaughan slows the pace down in half guard. Vaughan drops an elbow to the side of Snow's head.
Snow is rocked! Vaughan seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Snow is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Arm Triangle). Jamie Vaughan! After winning the bout, Jamie Vaughan thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
