The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Balas fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Moreno on the side of the head.
It looks like Mono Moreno has been cut.
Balas's coach down at Hunter's hideout was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Balas's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Moreno fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Crunch! Moreno slams his shin into Balas's torso.
Balas wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Balas lands a jab to Moreno's midsection.

Ferenz Balas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Moreno misses with a takedown attempt - Balas sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Moreno. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Balas throws a lazy right hand but Moreno sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Moreno uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Balas.

Balas might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.
Balas lands a glancing blow to the side of Moreno's head.
Balas drops a shoulder and throws an uppercut that cracks Moreno right on the button. Moreno goes down! Balas follows him to the mat and finishes the job with more strikes! Balas gets the win via TKO!
