The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard.
Jones is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Brown accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.
Brown throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Jones works some decent striking defense from the bottom.

Brown has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Brown might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Jones haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Brown working his ground and pound in the gym. So far it seems to be working well.

Jones takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Oh Jones is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Brown cracks Jones with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Brown immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Jones is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Brown!
