The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcgregor is looking to clinch but Pettis is avoiding it.
Pettis lands a nice looking body kick.
Pettis swats away the attempt to clinch by Mcgregor.

Pettis lands a head kick!
Mcgregor takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Pettis scores with a push kick.
A swing and a miss from Mcgregor.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Mcgregor tries to clinch up but Pettis circles away and keeps his distance.
Pettis throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Mcgregor.
A telegraphed right hand from Mcgregor misses the target.
Mcgregor on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Pettis. Pettis obviously looking to wear him down.
Mcgregor looks winded!
Mcgregor fails to land with a series of punches.
Pettis scores with a head kick.

Mcgregor closes the distance looking to clinch
and Pettis counters with a low kick, right behind Mcgregor 's knee.
Pettis circles to his right before unloading a perfect head kick! Mcgregor drops to the canvas, hurt badly! Pettis follows Mcgregor to the ground and unloads with a series of strikes that force the referee to step in and end the fight! This one is all over!
