Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Hannibal Barca (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Derick Steve (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barca comes to the cage accompanied by Otherwise- Soldiers. Steve has chosen Happy Day as his entrance music. Hannibal Barca has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hannibal Barca!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Gwen Towbar and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Barca throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Steve throws a quick inside leg kick.
Steve scores with a head kick.
Barca tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Barca tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Steve swivels and escapes.
Steve checks a leg kick.
Steve lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Barca circles away quickly and effectively.
Steve lands with a thumping leg kick.
Barca thows a body shot but no joy.
A right-left combo lands from Steve.
Steve looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Steve's coach down at GreatWall MMA was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Steve's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Barca moves in looking to clinch but Steve pushes him off.
Steve lands a head kick!
Steve throws a nice inside leg kick.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
An inside leg kick lands from Steve.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Steve.
Steve scores with a kick to the midsection.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Steve misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Derick Steve seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Barca bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Steve throws his opponent off and manages to get back to his feet! Nicely done!
Barca takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards.
Steve throws a nice outside leg kick.
A combination from Steve does no damage.
A chopping leg kick lands by Steve.
An inside leg kick lands from Steve.
Barca shoots in for a double leg but Steve sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Steve slaps away a takedown attempt from Barca, before circling back to the center of the mat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Hannibal Barca. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Steve scores with a head kick.

Steve throws a combination. Barca tries to block but a couple of punches get through.

Steve feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Barca's calf.
Steve with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Steve scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Steve lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Steve smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Steve connects with an inside leg kick.
Steve lands a nice leg kick that just misses Barca's sensitive parts.
An inside leg kick lands from Steve.
Steve throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.
Barca tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
An inside leg kick lands from Steve.
A nice inside leg kick there by Steve. That's going to slow Barca down.
Steve throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Barca.
Barca tries for a takedown but Steve sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Barca is breathing heavily.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Steve fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Barca.
Barca takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Barca is rocked!
Steve goes for a small jab and connects. Now Steve goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Barca stumbles back but Steve runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Barca to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Barca will ever be the same after a knockout like that.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:16 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Derick Steve!
