Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Christian Perry!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Chad Campbell and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Perry tries to keep at a distance but Prince has taken the fight into the clinch.
Prince stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.

Prince pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Prince lands a lovely overhand right.
Prince throws a series of punches but Perry moves out of range.
Prince tries to clinch up.
Prince throws a jab but it's blocked by Perry.
Perry shoots in but Prince avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Prince lands a nice hook to Perry's body. Perry takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Perry keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

so Perry counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Prince wants to stand but Perry is controlling the position.
Perry throwing strikes from guard but Prince blocks nicely.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Perry accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Perry drops back looking for a leg! Prince is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Prince manages to kick Perry off! Perry jumps back into Prince's guard.

Perry throws an elbow that misses. Prince uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Perry's guard. Nice move by Prince!
Perry bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Prince's guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Perry breaks from the clinch.
Prince pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Perry back to the cage. Prince follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
Nice takedown defense from Prince. No joy for Perry on that attempt.

Christian Perry showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Christian Perry is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Let's hope that Perry has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Christian Perry hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
