Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenneth Antonsen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vincent Pania (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kenneth Antonsen! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Vincent Pania! The judges for this bout are Chris Dean, Ron Honeybunn and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Antonsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Antonsen wants it to stay on the feet. Pania throws a shot from downtown. Antonsen moves away and avoids it. Pania dives in for a single leg takedown but Antonsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Antonsen manages to break the clinch.
Nice sprawl there from Pania as Antonsen shoots in. Antonsen circles away from the clinch attempt and Antonsen counters with a two punch combo. Pania wants to clinch. Pania changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Antonsen tries to avoid it but Pania manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Antonsen to the ground. Antonsen escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kenneth Antonsen has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vincent Pania. Pania fails with a takedown attempt. Antonsen shoots in for a takedown but Pania shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Pania closes this distance looking for a takedown but Antonsen circles away. Pania lands a nice hook to Antonsen's body. Antonsen takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Pania ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Antonsen moves away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pania shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Antonsen pinned against the cage. Antonsen gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pania looks winded! Antonsen stuffs the takedown. Antonsen looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Antonsen swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Antonsen instigates a clinch. Pania is pressed up against the cage. Antonsen has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Pania down to the mat. Pania avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Antonsen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Pania tries to avoid it but Antonsen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Pania to the ground. Pania escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Antonsen shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Pania but Pania pushes him off and we're back to square one. Pania fails with an attempt to clinch.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Pania rushes Antonsen and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Antonsen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Antonsen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Pania. Antonsen gets in close and instigates a clinch. Antonsen breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Pania tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Pania will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Antonsen has Pania up against the cage in a clinch.
Antonsen pulls guard effortlessly. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Antonsen wants to stand but Pania is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Antonsen controlling Pania's posture. Antonsen trying to keep a closed guard but Pania is proving a slippery customer.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pania accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Pania showing good wrestling skills to control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up because Kenneth Antonsen just wasn't active enough. Pania misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Pania shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Antonsen as he avoids it easily. Antonsen blocks a head kick by Pania.
Pania is looking to clinch. Antonsen closes the distance and clinches. Antonsen drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pania gets the underhooks and prevents it.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pania goes for a takedown in the clinch but Antonsen prevents it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kenneth Antonsen will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

Pania shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Antonsen sprawls well. Antonsen wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Pania gets slowly back to his feet. Antonsen darts in and clinches Pania up against the cage. Antonsen fails to pull the fight into his guard.

He's got his arms around Pania's waist but Pania gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Antonsen off to one side. Pania tries to score a power double leg takedown but Antonsen sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pania somewhat. Antonsen shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Pania pinned against the cage. Pania gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Pania clinches with his opponent.
Pania is trying to pull guard but Antonsen has him pressed against the cage. Antonsen fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Antonsen drops down looking for an ankle pick but Pania pulls his leg out and moves away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Antonsen misses with a takedown attempt - Pania sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pania shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Antonsen as he jumps to the side. Nice takedown defense from Pania. No joy for Antonsen on that attempt. Antonsen stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Antonsen wants it to stay on the feet. Antonsen swats away the attempt to clinch by Pania. Pania tries a head kick but it misses.
Pania tries to clinch and Antonsen counters with a head kick. That will keep Pania thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Pania closes this distance looking for a takedown but Antonsen circles away. The fight moves into the clinch position. Pania successfully pulls guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Antonsen decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Pania, up you get! Antonsen connects with a body shot that sends Pania's belly button to the back. Pania tries to clinch there but Antonsen circles away.
Pania tries to close the distance and clinch but Antonsen swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Pania dives in for a single leg takedown but Antonsen sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Antonsen is trying to pull guard but Pania turns him against the cage and we stay in the clinch. Antonsen goes for a takedown in the clinch but Pania prevents it.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Antonsen tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Pania smiles and moves away.

Kenneth Antonsen dominated that second round. That's time! Antonsen's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Pania is trying hard to land a takedown here. Antonsen sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Antonsen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Antonsen moves into the clinch. Pania throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Antonsen is trying to stall.
Pania is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Antonsen gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Pania avoids a wild elbow strike from Antonsen. Antonsen tries to pull guard but Pania holds him up against the cage and eventually Antonsen drops back down to his feet.
A nice right hand lands inside from Pania.
It looks like Kenneth Antonsen has been cut. Pania pressing his opponent against the cage. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Antonsen escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Antonsen lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Pania circles away quickly and effectively. Pania darts in and clinches Antonsen up against the cage. Pania stops a takedown attempt from Antonsen.
Pania manages to pull guard.
Pania tries to land a sweep but no joy. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Pania keeping full guard, as Antonsen tries to pass. Pania is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Pania had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Antonsen defends it easily. Antonsen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pania swivels though and keeps the full guard. Antonsen wants to control from the top but Pania keeps moving. Pania is pulling down on Antonsen's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Pania has closed the distance and engaged Antonsen in a clinch.
Pania just leaning against Antonsen, taking a breather. Antonsen pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Vincent Pania seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Antonsen is defended easily by Pania. Antonsen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Pania scores with a sloppy right hand. Antonsen should have avoided that one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Pania tries to clinch there but Antonsen circles away.
Pania throws a head kick but Antonsen moves out of range.
Antonsen has taken the fight to the clinch.
And that's the end of the fight! Vincent Pania comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Antonsen has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
