Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Frankie Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John McClane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barnes comes to the ring accompanied by Black Eyed Peas - Imma Be. McClane has chosen Refuse/Resist as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Frankie Barnes has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
35 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Frankie Barnes! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
20 - 10 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, John McClane! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Wagner Zegers and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! McClane looks to score with a jab to the body but Barnes is just out of range. McClane throws a body shot but no joy. Barnes stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. McClane has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Barnes finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Barnes checks the leg kick. A low kick from McClane is predictable there and Barnes counters with an inside leg kick. McClane throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Barnes throws a hook to the side of McClane's head but McClane sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. McClane jabs Barnes right on the nose. Barnes blinks but takes it well. Barnes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as McClane throws out the jab. Barnes avoids the body shot from McClane.
Barnes avoids a punch combination nicely.
Barnes connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Both fighters circling a little - McClane finishes the exchange with a kick to the body. Barnes throws a low kick, looking for McClane's leg but McClane calmly moves out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round. McClane fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. McClane misses with a low kick. Barnes lands with a cross. John McClane seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Barnes lands a jab to the nose. Barnes fails with an attempt to clinch.
Barnes staying out of range there. McClane just misses with a punch to the body.
McClane drops his hands momentarily and Barnes takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. McClane looks to score with a jab to the body but Barnes is just out of range. Jab from Barnes. McClane is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Barnes rather than just go for the knockout. A shot to the body from McClane misses and Barnes counters with a thumping low kick. McClane works Barnes's body with a nice hook. This has been an exciting period of action! McClane connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Barnes ducks down and throws a hook to the body but McClane moves away. Barnes connects with a right hand. McClane shakes it off.
It looks like John McClane has been cut.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice straight punches there by Barnes. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Barnes. Barnes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Barnes checks a leg kick. McClane swings for the body but Barnes moves out of range.
McClane throws the left hand but Barnes avoids the punch easily. Nice uppercut lands for McClane. That snapped Barnes's head back.
Barnes lands with a nice body punch. Barnes avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Barnes throws a head kick but McClane moves out of range.

Barnes connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. McClane misses with a double jab
and Barnes moves into the clinch. Barnes effectively controlling the action here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Barnes lands a left hand that snaps the head of McClane backwards. Barnes lands a nice knee to the body. McClane managing to block the knees to the body from Barnes.
McClane wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. McClane breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
McClane throws a leg kick but Barnes moved away. McClane lands a nice leg kick that just misses Barnes's sensitive parts. Barnes cracks a nice hook into McClane's ribs. Nice body punch from McClane. McClane ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Barnes moves away. Barnes lands a big head kick that sends McClane tumbling to the mat! Barnes takes a step backwards and waves McClane back to his feet - he wants the finish!
McClane is rocked! The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Barnes fires a straight punch through the middle that cracks McClane square on the jaw! Damn, McClane is out cold on his feet and topples face first to the canvas! Wow, I haven't seen a knockout that brutal in a long time!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Frankie Barnes! Frankie Barnes retains his middleweight title! After winning the bout, Frankie Barnes thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
