Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jonas Valanciunas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Travis Lucas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Travis Lucas was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jonas Valanciunas! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
39 - 18 - 0, fighting out of New York, Travis Lucas! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Nard Betker and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Lucas moves forwards but Valanciunas connects with a nice, crisp jab. Valanciunas misses with a right hand and Lucas counters with a nice leg kick. Lucas checks a leg kick. Lucas lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Valanciunas throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lucas moves away from the strike by Valanciunas. Lucas throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Lucas with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Lucas misses with a low kick. Valanciunas avoids a kick to the body.
Valanciunas shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Valanciunas swings widly with a right hand
and Lucas connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Valanciunas throws a front kick aimed at Lucas's knee but Lucas avoids it well. Valanciunas fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Lucas.

That's one minute gone in the round. Lucas ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Lucas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Valanciunas throws a nice head kick!
It looks like Travis Lucas has been cut. Lucas bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Valanciunas throws a chopping leg kick but Lucas manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Valanciunas cracks Lucas with a good jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lucas moves out of range as Valanciunas strikes. Valanciunas looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Valanciunas throws a poor cross that misses
letting Lucas counter with a right hand. Lucas throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. A jab from Valanciunas misses. Lucas throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean. Lucas looks for the body kick but Valanciunas saw that one coming. Lucas avoids the head kick by Valanciunas.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice defenses there by Lucas. Lucas scores with a hook. Lucas dodges the punch combination from Valanciunas.
A big right from Valanciunas misses. Valanciunas on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Lucas. Lucas obviously looking to wear him down.
Valanciunas tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Valanciunas throws a shot from downtown. Lucas moves away and avoids it. Lucas slips under a jab. Lucas walks forward, straight into a front kick from Valanciunas. Valanciunas throws a leg kick and Lucas counters with an outside leg kick.
Jonas Valanciunas seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lucas scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Valanciunas throws a big shot that misses.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Valanciunas thows a left - swing and a miss! Valanciunas is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Lucas. Valanciunas misses with a straight left. Lucas slips under a jab. Valanciunas throws a hook to the side of Lucas's head but Lucas sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Valanciunas moves into range and connects with a jab. Lucas looks for the body kick but Valanciunas saw that one coming. Valanciunas pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Decent striking displayed by Valanciunas there. Lucas takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. A punch lands to the side of Valanciunas 's head but he takes it in his stride. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Lucas slips under a jab. Lucas checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Lucas uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Valanciunas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lucas lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Valanciunas is breathing heavily. Valanciunas throws out a loose jab but Lucas uses good head movement to avoid it. Valanciunas is looking to chop away at Lucas's legs. Lucas steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Valanciunas. A jab lands there for Lucas. Valanciunas misses with a right hand and Lucas counters with a right hand to the body. Lucas feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Valanciunas sprawling to the canvas! Valanciunas rolls over backwards and springs off the ropes and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Lucas finish him?!
Valanciunas is rocked! Valanciunas misses with a lunging right hand
and Lucas counters with a massive hook, right on the button! He's out cold! Damn, that was naaaaaasty! Hopefully he'll be OK.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Travis Lucas! Travis Lucas decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
