Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Ferdinand Dunlap!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Brutus Farly!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, James Atkins and James Ackerman.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farly darts in trying to clinch

and Dunlap counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Dunlap.
Farly is trying to break free.
Dunlap could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Dunlap has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Farly is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Dunlap is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Dunlap is trying to break the clinch but Farly has him pressed against the cage.
Farly prevents a takedown attempt there.

Farly pulls guard.
Farly wants to stand up but Dunlap is controlling him.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Dunlap stands up from Farly's guard - Dunlap perhaps looking for a knockout.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Farly has managed to clinch.
Farly gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Dunlap.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ferdinand Dunlap. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Dunlap is trying to drag Farly to the mat but Farly just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.
Dunlap jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Farly walks away with a smile on his face. Dunlap gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Farly is looking to clinch but Dunlap is avoiding it.
Farly misses with a combination

so Dunlap counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Farly wants to stand up but Dunlap is controlling him.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Farly has his feet on Dunlap's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
Farly wants to clinch up but Dunlap keeps it at a distance.
Brutus Farly seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Farly fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Farly lands with a good body shot.
Farly moves in looking to clinch but Dunlap pushes him off.
Farly misses with a series of wild punches.
Farly goes for a small jab and connects. Now Farly goes in closer pressing the issue. Left hook, right straight! Dunlap stumbles back but Farly runs in with a huge uppercut knocking Dunlap to the ground! What a finish! You have to wonder if Dunlap will ever be the same after a knockout like that.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:48 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Brutus Farly!
