Lindel comes into the arena with Clawfinger - Biggest & The Best blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lindel decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
We've been hearing good reports from Lindel's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Lindel is trying to control the action in half guard but Riseman is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Lindel goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Lindel goes for a double leg but Riseman avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Riseman continues to drive forward.

Lindel shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Riseman as he jumps to the side.
Lindel shoots in looking for a takedown. Riseman tries to sprawl out of it but Lindel keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Riseman manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Riseman stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Riseman wants it to stay on the feet.

Lindel takes a swing at Riseman's ribcage but misses.
Lindel throws a lazy right hand but Riseman sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Lindel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Lindel lands a nice short elbow.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Lindel looking to sit in guard and control but Riseman gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Sloppy strikes from Riseman. Those never looked like landing.
Lindel looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Riseman throws a series of punches but Lindel moves out of range.
Lindel swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lindel looks for a takedown but Riseman sprawls well.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Riseman lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Lindel has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Lindel and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Lindel shoots for a double leg takedown but Riseman sprawls well. He's pushed Lindel's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

This has been an exciting period of action!

It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Lindel here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man.

Riseman lets his hands go wild with a nice combination. Left! Right! Uppercut! Spinning backfist! Lindel goes down and covers up as Riseman starts wailing on him! The ref watches the action closely before stepping in and putting a stop to the fight!
