Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Iwan Matwijenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hatsu Matsu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Matwijenko's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, RANDORI!. Matsu has chosen LMFAO - Sexy and I Know It as his entrance music. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
12 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Iwan Matwijenko! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Hatsu Matsu! The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Matti Vanhoillinen and Anni Minnemäki.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsu shoots in for a takedown but Matwijenko shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Matsu has a takedown stuffed. Nice defenses there by Matsu. Nice shot lands for Matsu. Matsu has Matwijenko up against the cage in a clinch.

Matsu misses with a short punch on the inside. Matwijenko tries to break the clinch but Matsu is controlling the position. Matwijenko lands a damaging elbow.
It looks like Hatsu Matsu has been cut. Matwijenko lands a damaging elbow. Matwijenko working hard to break the clinch. Matsu throws a punch but it's blocked by Matwijenko. Good body shot from Matsu.
Matsu blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning. Matsu pulls guard effortlessly. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Matwijenko trying to control the position from guard on top but Matsu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Matsu bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Matwijenko's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matsu pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Matwijenko is keeping the position for now. Matsu passes Matwijenko's left leg - he's now in half guard. Matwijenko is in a tricky position but he's been working on his transitions down at Pihkalan Sali, so we'll see if he gets out of it. Matsu is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Matwijenko has managed to free his arm - good work. Ground and pound from Matsu. My spies in Hell's Balls Grappling Academy inform me that Matsu has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Matsu thows a huge punch but Matwijenko dodges it nicely.
Matwijenko won't allow Matsu to pass to mount. Matsu throwing shots but Matwijenko is blocking nicely. Matsu wants to control but Matwijenko is keeping him busy. Matsu thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Matwijenko's head. Matsu is looking for a kimura. It's pretty deep but Matwijenko still has the half guard so he's probably OK. Oh, Matwijenko has exploded into a beautiful escape there and after a quick scramble, he's ended up in side control on top! Nice work! Matsu is looking for a sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Matsu sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard. Matsu moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Matwijenko is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Matwijenko avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Matwijenko slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Matsu manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Matwijenko is trying to stand up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Matsu can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Matwijenko is looking to escape. Matsu looking to finish Matwijenko with some ground and pound. This is bad for Matwijenko! Matsu wants to control the pace but Matwijenko is squirming around nicely. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Matsu throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Matwijenko because Matsu loaded up on that one. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Matsu is landing with some decent strikes but Matwijenko is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Matwijenko suckers Matsu into throwing a sloppy strike and uses the momentum to reverse the position beautifully! Matwijenko is now in Matsu's guard!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Hatsu Matsu dominated that round. The cut man is working on Hatsu Matsu's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Matwijenko throws a leg kick that misses. Matsu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Matwijenko manages to avoid it. Matsu lands the left hand. No luck for Matsu with that takedown attempt. Matwijenko swats away the attempt to clinch by Matsu. Matsu connects with a nice looking jab.
Matsu tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Matsu tries to clinch but Matwijenko is having none of it. Matsu cracks Matwijenko with a right hand to the side of the head. Matsu tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Matwijenko swivels and escapes. Matwijenko connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Matwijenko throws an overhand right that lands on Matsu's shoulder, as Matsu tries to avoid the shot. Matwijenko lands a nice leg kick that just misses Matsu's sensitive parts. Matwijenko misses with a straight right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Matwijenko looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Matwijenko drops his hands momentarily and Matsu takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Matsu shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Matwijenko sprawls well. Matwijenko wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Matsu gets slowly back to his feet. Iwan Matwijenko has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hatsu Matsu. A low kick from Matsu misses and Matwijenko counters with a nice uppercut. Matwijenko throws a nice inside leg kick. Matsu walks into a stiff left hand from Matwijenko. Matsu ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Matwijenko moves away. Matwijenko misses with a straight left. Matwijenko dodges the punch combination from Matsu.
Matsu tries a head kick but it misses.
Matwijenko lands an overhand right. Hatsu Matsu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Matwijenko lands a nice shot that snaps Matsu's head back.

Matwijenko stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Matwijenko lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Matsu circles away quickly and effectively.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Good standup being displayed there by Matwijenko as he connects with a hook. Matsu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Matwijenko avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Iwan Matwijenko is winning the standup battle so far. Matwijenko lands a big uppercut and Matsu crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Matsu looks OK. Matwijenko waves Matsu back to his feet!
Matsu is rocked! Matwijenko measures up his opponent and throws a superman punch that connects to the jaw! Down goes Matsu! The ref steps in, and that's the ball game folks!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:24 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Superman Punch). Iwan Matwijenko! Iwan Matwijenko decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
