Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Josef Rocha! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Clark Kent! The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, William Gold and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A telegraphed takedown attempt from Kent is defended easily by Rocha. Kent throws a left and a right that both miss
and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick. Kent tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Rocha defends well and Kent ends up having to push Rocha into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Kent decides to pull guard. Kent tries to strike from the bottom.
Rocha preventing the sweep. Kent is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Rocha defends well. Kent is looking to stand up but Rocha isn't so interested in that idea. Kent wants to sweep here but Rocha controlling him for the moment. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage. Kent is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Rocha trying to control but Kent is working from the bottom. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kent is on top in guard.
Kent throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Rocha works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocha not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Kent trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Rocha has his foot on Kent's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Kent works his way back into a safe position though. Kent trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Kent decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Rocha, up you get! Rocha blocks a head kick by Kent.
Kent lands a lovely overhand right.
It looks like Josef Rocha has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Kent fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Josef Rocha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. Kent takes the fight into the clinch.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent jumps into guard, dragging Rocha to the mat.
Kent wants to sweep but no luck. Kent keeping moving, preventing Rocha from controlling successfully. Kent looking for a sweep. Not yet Kent, not yet. Kent had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rocha defends it easily. Kent wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Rocha has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
That's four minutes gone in the round. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Rocha wants to stand and escape but instead Kent has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Kent controls the pace of the fight for a moment. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kent in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Clark Kent dominated that round. The cut man is working on Josef Rocha's cut. That's time! Back to the action!

Kent tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Kent moves away from the strike by Rocha. Kent misses with a kick to the body.
Josef Rocha is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Kent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Rocha. Kent fails with a takedown attempt from distance. The fight stays on the outside here - Kent looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Kent is trying hard to land a takedown here. Rocha sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kent throws a lazy head kick and Rocha counters with a nice body kick. Kent has a takedown stuffed. Josef Rocha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. Kent shoots in but Rocha avoids the takedown attempt easily. Kent is breathing heavily. Rocha throws out a leg kick but Kent moves out of range and Rocha only half commits. Rocha showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Kent.
Kent moves into the clinch successfully.
Kent pushes off an throws an elbow but Rocha leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kent blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Kent is trying to break the clinch but Rocha has him pressed against the cage. Rocha prevents a takedown attempt there.
Kent fails to pull guard.
Kent throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Kent blocks a body shot from Rocha. Kent is looking to break free of the clinch but Rocha has double underhooks. Kent has Rocha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rocha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Kent tries to break free but Rocha pushes him back against the cage. Rocha tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Rocha unloads a knee to the mid-section. Kent lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Rocha prevents a takedown attempt there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Kent takes an elbow to the temple. Rocha misses with a short punch on the inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kent has Rocha pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Rocha manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Rocha misses with a punch on the inside.
Rocha misses with a hook from the clinch. Rocha jumps guard but Kent turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Rocha is trying to pull guard but Kent has him pressed against the cage. Rocha is pressed up against the cage. Kent has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Rocha down to the mat. Rocha avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Kent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rocha tries to avoid it but Kent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rocha to the ground. Rocha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Rocha is looking to clinch but Kent is avoiding it.
Rocha tries to close the distance and clinch up but Kent swats him away and circles back towards the center. Rocha stuffs the takedown. Rocha shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kent but Kent pushes him off and we're back to square one. Rocha stalks Kent and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Kent's face. Kent staggers backwards, shaken.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Rocha shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Kent sprawls well. Kent wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Rocha gets slowly back to his feet. A thudding body kick lands there by Rocha!
Kent shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Rocha defends it nicely. A clash of legs there as Kent blocks the low kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Josef Rocha will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Josef Rocha's cut. That's time! Back to the action! Ladies and gentlemen, this is the final round!
Rocha leaves Kent with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Rocha stuffs the takedown. Rocha is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Clark Kent seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Kent darts in looking for a takedown but Rocha gets double underhooks and turns Kent into the cage. Josef Rocha has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Clark Kent. Kent throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Rocha blocks it with crossed arms. Rocha fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Kent is looking for a takedown. Kent wants to get back to striking at distance but Rocha won't allow it.
Kent stalls. Kent takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Rocha throws a punch but it's blocked by Kent.
That's one minute gone in the round. A head punch blocked on the inside by Kent. Kent drags the fight down to the ground.
Rocha trying to stand up but can't free himself from Kent's guard. Kent throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Rocha trying to control but Kent is working from the bottom. Kent tries to land a sweep but no joy.
We're going to have a standup here because Josef Rocha wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Kent shoots in looking for a takedown but Rocha manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Kent's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Kent throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. Kent changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Rocha tries to avoid it but Kent manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Rocha to the ground. Rocha escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Rocha tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kent paws at him with a jab and circles away. Kent fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kent looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Rocha fails to land the takedown. The fight stays on the outside here - Kent looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Rocha avoids the head kick by Kent.
No luck for Kent with that takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Horrible takedown attempt by Kent or perhaps it was just good defense by Rocha, which made it look bad. Kent on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Rocha. Rocha obviously looking to wear him down.
Kent tries to close the distance and clinch but Rocha swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Kent doesn't manage to clinch there - Rocha circles away.
Rocha closes this distance looking for a takedown but Kent circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Kent. Kent rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Rocha moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Clark Kent. Well Kent has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
