Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Edward McLauglin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Onanias Runkman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Runkman has chosen Anderson Silva DANCING Justin Bieber SONG as his entrance music. Onanias Runkman is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 17 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Onanias Runkman!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Roosa Järviläinen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McLauglin dips down and scores with a jab to the body.

I was talking to McLauglin's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.
Runkman is trying to drag McLauglin to the mat but McLauglin just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Runkman jumps guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Runkman can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as McLauglin controls the pace.

Runkman shoots in for a double leg but McLauglin sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
