Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Guadalupe Foley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcel Cloutier (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cloutier has chosen Cry Like A Bitch as his entrance music. Marcel Cloutier has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Winston Howard and Steve Erwin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Foley shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Cloutier wants to clinch
and Foley counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Cloutier is lucky that one didn't land flush.

Marcel Cloutier seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Cloutier changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Foley looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Cloutier stands up and we're back to a striking position.

Foley lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Cloutier or not.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Foley enables Cloutier to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Foley manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Foley will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Marcel Cloutier wasn't active enough on the ground.

Marcel Cloutier showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
The fight stays on the outside here - Cloutier looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

Foley gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Cloutier to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Cloutier remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
