Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Carlo English (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Unit Three (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Unit Three will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Carlo English! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Unit Three! The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Three getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
It looks like Carlo English has been cut. Three gets a takedown into half guard. English trying to control here.
Three working over English with some ground and pound. English looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Three keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action. Three wants to pass the guard but English is defending well. Three is taking a breather. English says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
That's one minute gone in the round.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Unit Three. Three throws a push kick but English slaps the foot to one side. Three throws a series of punches but English moves out of range. English dips down and scores with a jab to the body. English shoots and misses and Three decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in English's guard. English has his foot on Three's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Three works his way back into a safe position though. Three stands up and waves to English to follow him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Three throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Three looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Three stays in close to English's body and controls the position. English has a closed guard, preventing Three from standing up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Three stands and throws English's legs to the side, diving into side control. English wants to get back to his feet. English is breathing heavily. Three tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Three has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Three is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position. English is looking to get back to his feet here but Three is keeping cool and he's managed to take English's back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Three controlling the position well here. English rolled but Three kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Unit Three dominated that round. The cut man is working on Carlo English's cut. That's time! English's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Three swings and misses with a hook to the body.
English goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Carlo English is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Three manages to get an easy takedown there - catching English on his heels. He'll look to pass English's guard now, I'm sure. Three wants to stand and escape but instead English has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Three wants to stand but English is controlling the position. Three has a closed guard, preventing English from standing up. Three wants to stand up but English is controlling him.
That's one minute gone in the round. Three escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. English gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Three pulls English in close to prevent any damage. Three working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. English doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. English manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. English won't allow Three to sweep him here. English has gone for a leg lock! Three slips out almost immediately though and dives into English's guard. English wants to get back to his feet but Three is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Three is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Unit Three has got the better of the ground game so far. Three slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. Three is working English over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Three trying to stand up but can't free himself from English's guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Three's corner is telling him to maintain position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Three passes easily into side control. Nice work. Three wants to stand but English has his arm trapped. Three moves into full mount! Three controlling his opponent. English might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
That's four minutes gone in the round. English is trying to stand but he's just given Three his back. Three is looking cool and calm here, just waiting for a good opportunity to attack and finish the fight from this dominant position.
Let's hope that Three has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Three lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Unit Three showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on Carlo English's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. This is the final round!
Three fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. English sprawls well initially but Three persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Three lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Three is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Three is working for a kimura but English is defending it quite comfortably.
Three takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Unit Three has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Three shoots in and gets a takedown into English's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Three drops back, looking for a kneebar! English looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. English looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from English! Three sneaks back into half guard. Three controlling the position well. English is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. Three slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. English won't allow Three to sweep him here. Three tries to strike from the bottom.
English preventing the sweep. Three lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Three is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Unit Three wasn't active enough on the ground. Three closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Three is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. English knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. English is being controlled here. Carlo English has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Unit Three is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
And that's the end of the fight! Unit Three comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Three has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
