Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jimmy Hyatt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Chick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hyatt's entrance music is Street fighter. A fine choice. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hyatt lands an overhand right.
Hyatt misses with a body kick.
Hyatt tries to close the distance and clinch but Chick swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Hyatt uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chick.
Chick does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Andy Chick seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chick throws a low kick but Hyatt moves out of range easily.
Hyatt scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Hyatt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Chick slips a jab from Hyatt.
Chick throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.

Chick buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Chick has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Chick has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Hyatt finds it's way round the side to connect with Chick's head.

A looping hook to the body misses from Hyatt. Chick does a little dance to reset his feet.
Hyatt bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Chick's head backwards.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hyatt has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.

Hyatt lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Chick lands with a hook. Hyatt tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Chick connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Hyatt is rocked!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
BOOM! Chick lands a beautiful left hook that drops Hyatt. Hyatt tries to recover but Chick is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Hyatt lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
