Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adonis Anderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pete Pettis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson shoots in for a takedown but Pettis shows good takedown defense.

Pettis displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Anderson.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Both fighters circling a little - Pettis finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Anderson. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Pettis lands with a nice body kick.

Pettis lands a big head kick that sends Anderson to the canvas! Pettis follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!
