Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Meat Loaf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Helmut Doerner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Loaf comes to the cage accompanied by Eat My Loaf. Doerner is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Balls to the Wall by Accept. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
32 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Meat Loaf! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
16 - 21 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Helmut Doerner! The judges for this bout are Sergei Dronov, Konstantin Menshow and Fedor Mirinova.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Doerner shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Loaf but Loaf pushes him off and we're back to square one. Loaf blocks a head kick by Doerner.
We've been hearing reports that Loaf has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Doerner walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Loaf connects with the punch. Loaf blocks a leg kick. Doerner has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Doerner there as he acknowledges the shot. Doerner gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Loaf to score an easy takedown into full guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Loaf trying to control but Doerner is working from the bottom. Loaf wants to pass the guard but Doerner is keeping the position. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's one minute gone in the round. Doerner trying to keep a closed guard but Loaf is proving a slippery customer.
Doerner can't keep his opponent in guard - Loaf advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Doerner moves into full guard.
Loaf with a flurry of punches that miss. Loaf wants to pass the guard but Doerner is keeping the position. Doerner is looking to stand up but Loaf isn't so interested in that idea. Loaf wants to control from the top but Doerner keeps moving.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Doerner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Loaf trying to control the position from guard on top but Doerner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We're going to have a standup here because Meat Loaf wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Doerner looks to land a left hand but Loaf moved out of range nicely. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Loaf, right into the meat.
Doerner gets a takedown into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Loaf controlling the position for now.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loaf is looking for a sweep. Doerner is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Doerner trying to pass the guard but Loaf defending well. Loaf manages to get to full guard.
Doerner being controlled here momentarily. Doerner passes Loaf's right leg, so he's now in half guard. Loaf trying to control but Doerner postures up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

We're going to have a standup here because Meat Loaf wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Doerner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Doerner throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. Some wild striking there from Doerner.
Doerner scores with a decent looking hook. Doerner takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Doerner throws a right and a left that Loaf avoids nicely. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Doerner shoots for a double leg takedown but Loaf sprawls well. He's pushed Doerner's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. We've been informed that Doerner has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight. Meat Loaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helmut Doerner. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Loaf goes for a high kick. It partially lands. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meat Loaf dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Doerner misses the shot to the body. Doerner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Loaf looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Loaf is looking for a sweep. Doerner landing a few strikes. Loaf tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Doerner wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Loaf manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Doerner is thwarting Loaf's attempts to control the position. Well, if Doerner is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Loaf wants to get back to full guard. Doerner is looking to advance position but Loaf won't allow it. Doerner is taking a breather. Loaf says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loaf tries to get to full guard but Doerner has control of the leg. Loaf regains full guard. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loaf not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Doerner is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Loaf is pulling down on Doerner's head to control his posture.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Helmut Doerner wasn't active enough on the ground. Doerner misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Helmut Doerner is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Doerner darts in looking for a takedown but Loaf gets double underhooks and turns Doerner into the cage. Doerner is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Loaf gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Meat Loaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helmut Doerner. Loaf lands with a left to the head. Loaf lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Doerner backwards. A short right from Loaf. Loaf lands a left hand.
Doerner gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Loaf regains guard.
Doerner must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Loaf pulls Doerner in close to prevent any damage. Meat Loaf overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loaf is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Doerner won't allow Loaf to sweep him here. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Doerner is fighting to break Loaf's control of his arms but Loaf is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Doerner won't allow Loaf to sweep him here.
Meat Loaf has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Doerner looks for a takedown but Loaf sprawls well. Loaf shoots in looking for a takedown. Doerner tries to sprawl out of it but Loaf keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Doerner manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Loaf lands a lovely overhand right.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Doerner tries to clinch up but Loaf circles away and keeps his distance. Loaf scores with a punch to the head. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Loaf, right into the meat.
Loaf's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Doerner connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Loaf scrambles back to his feet. Loaf thumps Doerner with a low kick. Doerner needs to keep his hands up - Loaf had a free shot at his head there. Doerner with a lazy takedown attempt and Loaf connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Doerner connects with a right hand. Loaf shakes it off. Loaf lands a slapping body shot.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Doerner takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loaf is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Doerner shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Loaf counters with a nice body shot. Loaf throws a leg kick which misses Doerner's front leg but catches the back leg as Doerner tries to avoid it. Loaf scores with a jab. Loaf is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Loaf lands a nice shot that snaps Doerner's head back.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Loaf closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Doerner is pressing down on Loaf's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meat Loaf dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!
Loaf looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Nice sprawl there from Loaf as Doerner shoots in. Doerner feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Doerner won't allow Loaf to sweep him here. Loaf has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Doerner wants to slow Loaf down by chopping away at his legs.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loaf keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Doerner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Meat Loaf has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Helmut Doerner. Doerner fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Loaf pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Doerner misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Doerner will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loaf cracks Doerner with an open hand slap. Doerner shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Loaf sprawls well. Loaf wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Doerner gets slowly back to his feet. Doerner shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Loaf defends it nicely. Doerner takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Loaf throws a nice inside leg kick. Doerner shoots in for a double leg but Loaf sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Doerner stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Loaf.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loaf clinches up with Doerner and pushes him back against the cage. Doerner wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. A short left from Loaf. Loaf lands a shot to the body. Loaf escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Loaf thuds a left hand into Doerner's body. Doerner throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Loaf fakes a jab and scores with a low kick. Doerner with a poor takedown and Loaf counters with a slapping leg kick. Helmut Doerner has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Doerner takes one to the chin there. Loaf lands a jab to Doerner's midsection.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Loaf avoids a kick to the body.
Doerner throws a head kick but Loaf moves out of range.
Doerner takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Loaf.
Doerner takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Loaf feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Doerner's calf. Doerner thows a leg kick but Loaf checks it and Loaf counters with a nice body shot. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Loaf digs a good hook to Doerner's body.
Doerner takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Loaf rushes Doerner and presses him up against the cage.
And that's the end of the fight! Meat Loaf showed his dominance in that final round. Well Loaf has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Helmut Doerner spoke after the fight, saying 'I will cripple this fool in Abu Dhabi'.
