Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Dominic Tsunami (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kazumi Okamura (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dominic Tsunami!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazumi Okamura!
The judges for this bout are Yasuomi Hirokawa, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Yamamoto.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Okamura checks a low kick from Tsunami.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Tsunami lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Okamura has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Okamura and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.
Okamura tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Tsunami defends well and Okamura ends up having to push Tsunami into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Tsunami fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Okamura throws an elbow that misses.
Nice body punch from Tsunami.
Okamura crunches a lovely knee into Tsunami's ribcage.
Okamura tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Tsunami drags the fight down to the ground.
Okamura wants to control from the top but Tsunami keeps moving.
Tsunami working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Okamura.
Tsunami avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Tsunami escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Okamura gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Okamura in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Okamura has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Tsunami is proving hard to escape from.
Okamura wants to stand and escape but instead Tsunami has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.
Tsunami not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Okamura wants to stand up but Tsunami is controlling him.
Tsunami is working Okamura over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Tsunami postures up and lands a big shot to Okamura's brow.
Tsunami cracks Okamura with a solid left hand.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Tsunami lands a couple of elbows.
Tsunami passes Okamura's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Tsunami seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Okamura throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Okamura pushes Tsunami off looking to stand but Tsunami dives back in and keeps control.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Tsunami connects with a nice short shot to Okamura's temple.
Tsunami is controlling the pace.
Tsunami slips a nice elbow through Okamura's hands, connecting with Okamura's forehead.

Tsunami drops an elbow to the side of Okamura's head.
Okamura is trying to escape back to his feet but Tsunami uses the scramble to pass into side control.
Okamura really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Tsunami. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Tsunami is working Okamura over with some ground and pound from side control.
Okamura misses with a strike from the bottom.
Check out the look on Tsunami's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!

Tsunami lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Okamura down.

Okamura is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Tsunami lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.
Okamura is trying to control Tsunami's posture but Tsunami avoids it.

Tsunami in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.

Okamura tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Tsunami presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Tsunami lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Dominic Tsunami dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!


Okamura feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Tsunami's calf.
Tsunami keeps the fight on the outside.
Okamura misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Okamura fails in his attempt to clinch.

Tsunami scores with a takedown into Okamura's guard.
Dominic Tsunami overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Tsunami wants to control from the top but Okamura keeps moving.

Tsunami stays in close to Okamura's body and controls the position.
Okamura has momentary wrist control but Tsunami slips an elbow through the middle.

Okamura thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Tsunami is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Tsunami postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Tsunami stands up over Okamura, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Tsunami is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Okamura is still in real trouble! Can Tsunami finish him?
