Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Karl Smalling (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Thomas Lee has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Thomas Lee seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Smalling looks to score with a jab to the body but Lee is just out of range.
Lee tries to clinch but Smalling moves out of range.
We've been hearing reports that Lee has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.
Lee tries to score a power double leg takedown but Smalling sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lee somewhat.

Lee darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Smalling is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Lee pulls his head out easily.
Smalling really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Lee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Smalling wants to control but Lee is keeping busy and won't allow it.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lee loads up on a couple of big shots to the head that have Smalling scrambling to escape. He can't get free though and several more unanswered shots from Lee land to the head. The referee has no choice but to stop the fight. Lee stands and salutes the crowd.
