Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ezra Ray (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jisuk Seo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ezra Ray looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
33 - 17 - 1, fighting out of St Petersburg, Ezra Ray! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jisuk Seo! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Ivan Kurochkin and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Seo with a lazy takedown attempt and Ray counters with a left to the body. Seo walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Seo dives in and grabs Ray's left leg, looking for a takedown. Ray pushes down on Seo's head and hops out. Ray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ray looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight. Seo tries for a takedown but Ray circles away easily and Ray cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ezra Ray has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jisuk Seo. A cross from Ray lands. Ray lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Ray is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Ray misses with a low kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray stalks Seo and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Seo's face. Seo staggers backwards, shaken. Seo's coach down at LOW FIGHTERS PER TRAINERS was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Seo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Ray connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son. Ray throws out a loose jab but Seo uses good head movement to avoid it. Ray lands the left hand. Ray looks to throw the jab but Seo is out of range. Ray tried to score with a low kick but Seo checks it. Nice shot lands for Ray. Seo misses with a takedown attempt and Ray counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray throws a nice looking combination but Seo bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Ezra Ray seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Seo uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Ray. Seo ducks under a wild hook from Ray. Ray jabs Seo to the body, keeping him at a distance. Ray is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Ray throws a jab when Seo was well out of range. Ray scores with a hook. Ray scores with a jab to the jaw. Ray clobbers Seo with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray sizes up Seo with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. The crowd cheers as Ray lands an impressive looking overhand right. Seo doesn't seem phased though. Ray lands a jab. Seo with a lazy takedown attempt and Ray cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Ray works the jab nicely. Ezra Ray is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Ray finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Seo on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Ray fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Seo on the side of the head.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Seo shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Ray counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Ray is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Ray moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Ray connects with a solid leg kick. Ray lands a leg kick that knocks Seo off balance momentarily. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Seo tries for a takedown but Ray circles away easily and Ray counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ezra Ray dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Seo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ray lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Left hook, right uppercut from Ray. Seo is trying desperately to land a takedown but Ray is having absolutely none of it. This is turning into a bit of a nightmare for Seo. That kick from Ray tenderised Seo's leg. Seo is trying to keep his angry face on. Ezra Ray is winning the standup battle so far. Seo will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Seo has a pretty nasty looking mouse under his right eye. Ray connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Seo gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Ray throws a quick inside leg kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray lands an overhand right. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Ray, right into the meat.
Ray misses with a straight right. Seo keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Seo uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Ray. Seo slips under a jab. A jab from Ray misses.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ray swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Ray throws a leg kick but Seo sees it coming and checks it nicely. Ray leaves Seo with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Ray tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Seo was well out of range. Poor timing from Ray. Seo takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Ray jabs at Seo's body. Seo dodges the punch combination from Ray.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray throws a leg kick but Seo sees it coming and checks it nicely. A head kick from Ray lands but Seo takes it in his stride. Seo blocks a jab. Ray attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Ray pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Seo avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Ray closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Seo's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Ray is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Seo preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Ray controlling from the top position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
We're going to have a standup here because Ezra Ray wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Ray misses with a hook. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ezra Ray dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

and Seo counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Seo trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Seo thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Seo preventing the sweep. Seo wants to control from the top but Ray keeps moving. Seo is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully. Seo might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Ray haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Jisuk Seo has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Ray cracks Seo with an open hand slap.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ray cracks Seo with a good jab. Ray thows a left - swing and a miss! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Ray throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Ray misses with a few strikes there.
Ray keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A jab from Ray does it's job there.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Seo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Ray misses with a looping right. A telegraphed right hand from Ray misses the target. Seo takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Ray dips to his left and cracks Seo with an uppercut! Ray scores with a three punch combo!
Ray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Seo circles away quickly and effectively. Ray throws the left hand but Seo avoids the punch easily. Jisuk Seo has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ray lands with an uppercut that bounces Seo off the cage and back into range. Seo slips under a jab. Seo shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Ray manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Ray keeping moving, preventing Seo from controlling successfully. Ray bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Seo's guard. Ray looking to pass the guard. Seo keeping moving, preventing Ray from controlling successfully. Ray is stalling in the full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ray trying to control but Seo is working from the bottom. Ezra Ray is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Ray looking to pass the guard. Ray's corner is telling him to maintain position. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

And that's the end of the fight! Ezra Ray showed his dominance in that final round. Well Ray has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
