Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
white lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
white fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by white.
Peterson throws a lazy right hand but white sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
white fails to land the takedown.
white shoots in and drives through. Peterson sprawls well.
Peter Peterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of dustin white.
white wants to clinch up but Peterson keeps it at a distance.

Peterson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peterson lands in his opponent's guard.

white throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.

white is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

white escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peterson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Peterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
white has his foot on Peterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peterson works his way back into a safe position though.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.

and Peterson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Peterson.

Peterson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Peterson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

and Peterson counters with a nice double leg into side control. white won't be happy with that.
white wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
