Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Peter Peterson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, dustin white! The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, John Roberts and Anthony Taglia.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! white lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
white fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Peterson swats away the attempt to clinch by white. Peterson throws a lazy right hand but white sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. white fails to land the takedown. white shoots in and drives through. Peterson sprawls well. Peter Peterson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of dustin white. white wants to clinch up but Peterson keeps it at a distance. white fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Peterson just misses with a punch to the body.
Peterson could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. white tries to clinch up. white misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Peterson.
white lands a nice looking body kick. Peterson swinging wilding here.
Peterson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Peterson lands in his opponent's guard.
 That's one minute gone in the round. white throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. white tries to strike from the bottom.
white is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Peterson loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Peterson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
white escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Peterson gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. white looks gassed! white is trying to keep Peterson in close.
Peterson has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
white has his foot on Peterson's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Peterson works his way back into a safe position though.
 It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. white misses with a takedown
and Peterson counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Peterson.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Peterson wants to pass the guard but white is keeping the position.
Peterson is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Peterson not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Peterson wants to control from the top but white keeps moving. Peterson trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Peterson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Peterson trying to control the position from guard on top but white is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
 Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Peterson throws a right and a left that both miss. Peterson fails to land the takedown. white has his takedown stuffed
and Peterson counters with a nice double leg into side control. white won't be happy with that. white wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Peterson in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... white is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
