The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jackson fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Nice takedown defense from Jackson. No joy for Slice on that attempt.
Jackson looks to land a left hand but Slice moved out of range nicely.
Slice shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Jackson defends it nicely.
Jackson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Slice was well out of range. Poor timing from Jackson.

Slice darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

We've been hearing good reports from Jackson's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

That was a close round but I would say that Tyrone Jackson will probably get the nod.

Slice is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Jackson has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Slice is looking to defend but Jackson has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Slice! Jackson pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Slice taps out and this one is all over!
