Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Fahad Al Qarni (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryan Miller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Miller has chosen The Black Angels as his entrance music. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of New York, Fahad Al Qarni! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ryan Miller! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Alyssa Summers and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Miller throws a head kick but Al Qarni moves out of range.
Al Qarni avoids a punch combination nicely.
Al Qarni walks into a jab. We've been hearing reports that Al Qarni has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Miller lands with a nice combination. Al Qarni backs away looking to recover. Al Qarni looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Al Qarni is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Al Qarni seems to be working for a kimura but Miller defends the submission attempt. Al Qarni is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Miller keeping moving, preventing Al Qarni from controlling successfully. Al Qarni is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Miller is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Miller has escaped and now he's on top! Al Qarni working for a triangle but Miller defends it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Miller throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Al Qarni works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Al Qarni looking to hit a scissor sweep but Miller is one step ahead there. Miller throwing strikes but missing. Al Qarni escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Miller gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Miller wants to control from the top but Al Qarni keeps moving. Miller throws a big elbow that misses. Miller with a flurry of punches that miss. Miller landing with the ground and pound.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Miller got a little sloppy there for a moment and Al Qarni has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Miller has managed to get both his arms back between Al Qarni's legs - danger averted. Miller trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Miller trying to control but Al Qarni is working from the bottom. Miller throws a big elbow that misses. Miller missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Al Qarni keeping moving, preventing Miller from controlling successfully. Miller must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Al Qarni working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Miller. Al Qarni looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Miller stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Al Qarni swivels though and keeps the full guard. Al Qarni had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Miller defends it easily. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Al Qarni is looking for a triangle but Miller pushes his legs off easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Al Qarni is looking to cinch up a triangle. Miller throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Al Qarni's body to avoid the submission. Al Qarni has instead reached around Miller's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Al Qarni arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:23 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Guillotine). Fahad Al Qarni!
