Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Trent Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Shipwreck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Trent Williams! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mike Shipwreck! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Don Winkell and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Shipwreck misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Shipwreck keeps the fight on the outside. Shipwreck gets the takedown into side control. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Shipwreck tries to advance position but instead Williams slips a leg back in to half guard. Williams landing rabbit punches to the side of Shipwreck's head. Not doing much damage but still scoring a few points. Williams looking for submissions from an awkward position here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Williams is trying to stand back up but Shipwreck is controlling him

That's one minute gone in the round. Williams struggling a bit here. Shipwreck tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily. Shipwreck is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Williams's shoulder. That is not cool. Williams is trying to get back to half guard. Shipwreck prevents Williams from escaping the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Shipwreck wants to stand but Williams is controlling his arm. You can see the frustration on Williams's face as Shipwreck controls the position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Williams is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Shipwreck off and has taken his back! Williams trying to control. Shipwreck is trying to stand back up. Williams is hanging on to Shipwreck's back as he tries to escape.
Shipwreck is trying to get back to his feet but Williams has full control of the position and if anything, Shipwreck has just worked his way into a worse spot. Williams looking for the choke from the back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Shipwreck tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! Williams prevents Shipwreck from getting the reversal. Williams avoids the attempt from Shipwreck to control. Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shipwreck is looking to escape. Shipwreck tries to hold on but Williams pushes him away. Shipwreck gets back to half guard. Williams thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shipwreck tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Williams has advanced to mount. Uh oh. Shipwreck is squirming around, avoiding Williams's attempts to control the action. Shipwreck is in all sorts of trouble here.
Shipwreck sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Shipwreck keeps control of the position for the meantime. Williams prevents Shipwreck from improving his position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mike Shipwreck dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

You can see the frustration on Shipwreck's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Shipwreck is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Shipwreck is not content to let Williams control the position. Shipwreck keeping control of the position. Williams works his foot free and advances to mount. Williams avoids the attempt from Shipwreck to control.

Williams can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Shipwreck is looking to escape. Williams throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Shipwreck because Williams loaded up on that one. Shipwreck just holding on. Shipwreck tries to buck Williams off but he can't manage it. Williams thuds his fist into the canvas! Oooouch!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Shipwreck keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Shipwreck wants to control but Williams is having none of it. Shipwreck is looking to improve his position but Williams isn't that keen on the idea. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shipwreck is trying to stand. Shipwreck manages to regain half guard. Good work. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Mike Shipwreck will probably get the nod - 10:9. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Williams lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head. Williams keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Williams pushes Shipwreck up against the cage in a clinch. Shipwreck tries to throw a body punch but Williams avoids it by throwing Shipwreck back against the cage. Williams jumps into guard, dragging Shipwreck to the mat.
Shipwreck postures up in Williams's guard and throws a big left but Williams blocks it. Shipwreck is looking to stand up but Williams won't let him. Shipwreck controls from within his opponent's guard. Shipwreck tries to stand but Williams is controlling from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Shipwreck trying to control the position from guard on top but Williams is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Williams bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Shipwreck's guard. Shipwreck keeping moving, preventing Williams from controlling successfully. Shipwreck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Williams gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Shipwreck wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Williams is now in half guard.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Shipwreck looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Trent Williams has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Mike Shipwreck is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Shipwreck manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Williams manages to get himself to full guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Shipwreck comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Shipwreck winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
