Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steave Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mahir Han (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mahir Han is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Steave Hill!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Mahir Han!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Han circles away from the clinch attempt

so Han counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility.
Hill looking to control but Han passes into half guard.
Han stalling.
Hill wants to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Han seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hill is trying to get back to full guard.

Han seems to be working for a kimura but Hill defends the submission attempt.
Han with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mahir Han wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hill falls off balance throwing a combination

and Han counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Han.
Han advances position into side control!

Han working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
Hill trying to control but Han flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!

That's three minutes gone in the round.

Han has his hand under the chin of his opponent looking for the choke. He's nearly got it! This one could be all over! But no, Hill has freed his hand and lives to survive another… well, another couple of seconds at least!
Hill trying to control the hands but Han won't let him.

Han is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Hill defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Hill is really stuck here.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Han is riding his opponent, not letting Hill buck him off.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mahir Han dominated that round.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!


Han circles away from the clinch attempt

and Han counters with a single leg into guard. Hill didn't expect that.
Han slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Hill.

Hill wants to get back to full guard.

Han is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Mahir Han.
Han circles away from the clinch attempt

and Han counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Hill!
Hill looking for a sweep but Han has passed into full mount! Oh no!
Hill can't escape the position.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Han avoids the attempt from Hill to control.

Han working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet.
Han sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hill really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Han manages to capitalize on a mistake by Hill to take his back!
Han trying to secure his dominant position for a moment - making sure Hill doesn't escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hill is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Han gets his way!
Hill wants to control his opponent's hands but Han gets his hands free.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Han controlling the position well here. Hill rolled but Han kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Mahir Han showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!


Hill swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Han counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Hill wants to stand up but Han is controlling him.
Hill looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Han slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Hill is trying to hold Han in close to prevent damage but Han has managed to pass into half guard.
Hill pushes Han off looking to stand but Han dives back in and keeps control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Han prevents Hill from improving his position.
Han controlling the action here.

The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Mahir Han wasn't active enough on the ground.
Hill closes the distance but Han moves to the side

and Han counters with a nice double leg into guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Han drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Han jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Han not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Hill trying to strike off his back.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Han won't allow Hill to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Mahir Han was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Hill throws a poor cross that misses

and Han counters with a takedown into side control.
Hill throws a few strikes from the bottom but Han takes advantage and mounts!
Mahir Han has got the better of the ground game so far.
Hill is trying to reverse the position but instead Han has taken his back - oops!
Han doesn't have the hooks in and Hill manages to turn into his guard.
Han preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Han escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hill gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hill postures up in Han's guard and throws a big left but Han blocks it.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Hill accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Hill looking to sit in guard and control but Han gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hill is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Han dives into side control.

And that's the end of the fight!
Mahir Han comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Han winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
