Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Donovan Bagcal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Siss Morrow!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrow clobbers Bagcal with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
Bagcal wants to clinch up but Morrow keeps it at a distance.
The crowd cheers as Morrow lands an impressive looking overhand right. Bagcal doesn't seem phased though.
Jab, jab by Morrow - just one landing.
Morrow has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bagcal is landing a low percentage of strikes.

Morrow rushes Bagcal and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Morrow can't break the clinch.
Morrow avoids the elbow strike from Bagcal, against the cage.
Bagcal tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

The referee is keeping an eye on Bagcal - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Morrow is trying to drag Bagcal to the mat but Bagcal just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Morrow scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Bagcal to see if he's OK.

Morrow is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Bagcal has escaped the position, nice work there.
Morrow creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Morrow sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Bagcal is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Morrow goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Bagcal rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Morrow's guard! Nice work there by Bagcal!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Morrow is on top in guard.

Morrow working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bagcal doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bagcal manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Morrow is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Morrow doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

Bagcal is posturing up here but Morrow has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Bagcal tries to roll out but it's too tight and Bagcal has to tap! Slick submission there by Morrow!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Siss Morrow!
A relieved looking Siss Morrow thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
In defeat, Donovan Bagcal stepped up to the mic, saying 'all thanks and praises go out to my LORD JAH. without him nothing would be possible .BLESS'.
