Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Fish! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Dustin Kryon! The judges for this bout are Richard Clark, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Fish throws a lazy head kick and Kryon counters with a low kick, right behind Fish 's knee. Kryon fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Fish sprawls well initially but Kryon persists and gets the takedown into half guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace. Kryon is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Fish! Poor strikes thrown by Kryon there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!
Kryon looking to control and managing it successfully. Kryon jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Fish manages to avoid the submission attempt. Kryon controlling the position from side mount.
That's one minute gone in the round. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kryon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. Kryon is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Fish knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Fish is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Kryon asserts his dominance and retains side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kryon is trying to get an arm triangle but Fish is defending well. Fish wants to get back to his feet but Kryon is dominant here and he's now got Fish's back! Fish might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Kryon has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Fish is defending well but eventually Kryon manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Fish has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
