Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, TJ Dilashaw! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chad Beltrow! The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Lou da Vinci and Chad Campbell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Dilashaw loads up on a big right hand but Beltrow slips the punch. Dilashaw tries to clinch and Beltrow moves into the clinch. Dilashaw unloads a knee to the mid-section. Beltrow lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Dilashaw creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Dilashaw on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Dilashaw misses with a knee to the head. Beltrow tries to stall but Dilashaw uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Beltrow jumps guard but Dilashaw turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Beltrow breaks from the clinch.
Beltrow keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Beltrow circles away from the clinch attempt.
TJ Dilashaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Dilashaw has managed to clinch.

It looks like Chad Beltrow has been cut. Beltrow jumps guard but Dilashaw stands there with Beltrow around his waist. Beltrow gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round. Beltrow managing to block the knees to the body from Dilashaw.
Beltrow is trying to drag Dilashaw to the mat but Dilashaw just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. TJ Dilashaw has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Chad Beltrow. Dilashaw with the Thai clinch, lands a knee to the head. Beltrow tries to pull guard but Dilashaw holds him up against the cage and eventually Beltrow drops back down to his feet.
Beltrow takes an elbow to the temple. Beltrow looks winded! Beltrow looking for a takedown. Dilashaw landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Dilashaw lands a nice knee to the body. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Nice elbow from Dilashaw. Dilashaw lands a nice elbow from the clinch.
Beltrow is rocked! Dilashaw has the Thai clinch. He lands a big knee to the head that stumbles Beltrow - he's in trouble! Another big knee to the head from Dilashaw, and another! Beltrow is out on his feet - the ref jumps in to save him and ends the fight!
