These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Wilbur Bradshaw!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dylan Botelho!
The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Botelho drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Bradshaw tries to control but end up mounted... ooooh, that's bad.
Botelho content just to control the position here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Bradshaw tries to hold on but Botelho pushes him away.
Bradshaw tries to reverse the position but Botelho maintains control.
Bradshaw wants to hold on but Botelho pushes him away.
Bradshaw just holding on.
Bradshaw tries to hold on but Botelho pushes him away.
Botelho takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Botelho closes the distance and clinches.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Botelho breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Bradshaw dodges the punch combination from Botelho.
Bradshaw fails with a takedown attempt.
Botelho lands with a right that hurts Bradshaw. Bradshaw looks to clinch but Botelho throws a short knee that drops Bradshaw. This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punch and Knee). Dylan Botelho!
After the fight, Dylan Botelho was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
