The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A swing and a miss from Anderson.
Pearson closes this distance looking for a takedown but Anderson circles away.
Pearson has his takedown stuffed
and Anderson counters with a shoot takedown. Pearson fights it but they end up in guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Anderson controls from within his opponent's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Anderson throwing strikes from guard but Pearson blocks nicely.
Pearson uses the cage to get back to his feet.
Pearson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Pearson tries for a takedown but Anderson circles away easily
and Anderson connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Craig Anderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyson Pearson.
Anderson tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Anderson throws a head kick that Pearson semi-blocks.
Pearson tries to score a power double leg takedown but Anderson sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Pearson somewhat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Pearson closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Anderson quickly recovers to half guard.
Anderson moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Pearson trying to control but Anderson is working from the bottom.
Pearson stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Anderson throws up his legs and catches Pearson in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Pearson tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Anderson! That came out of nowhere!
