Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Peter Gongor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Couture (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Couture is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Pride Theme. On his way into the cage it seems that Peter Gongor has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Peter Gongor seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Anthony Taglia and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Gongor with that takedown attempt.
Gongor shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Couture as he avoids it easily.
Couture moves into the clinch.
Couture's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.
Couture decides to pull guard.
Gongor wants to stand but Couture has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Couture wants to get back to his feet but Gongor is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Gongor controls from within his opponent's guard.

Couture is looking to stand up but Gongor isn't so interested in that idea.
Gongor wants to control from the top but Couture keeps moving.

We've been hearing good reports from Gongor's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

We've been informed that Couture has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Couture is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Gongor can't fight it off and eventually Couture manages to take the fight to the floor. Gongor looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.
