Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Battle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and MARTIN BRYANT (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Battle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, MARTIN BRYANT! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Wesley Smith and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! BRYANT changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Battle looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Battle misses with a strike from the bottom. BRYANT is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Battle is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. BRYANT really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Battle. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Battle is trying to get back to half guard. Battle has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. BRYANT thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. BRYANT tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. You can see the frustration on Battle's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Battle gets back to half guard. Battle works his way to full guard. Good work. Battle looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Battle manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. BRYANT manages to get himself to full guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Battle seems to be looking for submissions.
Battle is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Battle is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. BRYANT actively working from the bottom here. BRYANT is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Battle pulls his head out easily. Battle wants to control but BRYANT is keeping him busy. Battle winds up and cracks BRYANT with a swinging punch to the side of the head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Battle is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Battle is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
That's three minutes gone in the round. BRYANT is trying to get back to full guard. BRYANT makes his way to full guard. A much better position for BRYANT. BRYANT is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Battle wants to control from the top but BRYANT keeps moving.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Battle stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. BRYANT swivels though and keeps the full guard. BRYANT bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Battle's guard. BRYANT must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Battle throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! BRYANT escapes and throws Battle's legs to the side, diving into side control! Battle tries to improve position but can't. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Battle dominated that round. That's time! Battle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
BRYANT has managed to clinch.
BRYANT is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Battle can't fight it off and eventually BRYANT manages to take the fight to the floor. Battle looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Battle pushes a forearm under BRYANT's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, BRYANT is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Jason Battle!
