Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Gage Bashor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eddie Powerslave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gage Bashor has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Gage Bashor! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Eddie Powerslave! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Shirou Masuda and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Powerslave misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Bashor.
Powerslave misses with an uppercut. Bashor works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. Bashor definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Bashor slips under a jab. Powerslave fails to land with a series of punches.
Powerslave tries to keep at a distance but Bashor has taken the fight into the clinch. Powerslave is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Bashor lands an elbow just above Powerslave 's eye. Bashor with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.
A nice glancing elbow lands by Bashor. Powerslave is trying to push Bashor away but Bashor has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Bashor misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Powerslave.

Powerslave throws a head punch that misses. Powerslave throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Bashors head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Powerslave is trying to break free.
That's one minute gone in the round. Powerslave is trying to force a seperation but Bashor has the dominant position. Bashor using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Powerslave has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Bashor is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Powerslave is defending well for now. Bashor pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Powerslave wants to break free but Bashor has control.
Powerslave looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Powerslave's coach down at [CBK] ONI Grappling Academy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Powerslave's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight. Powerslave is trying to force a seperation but Bashor has the dominant position. Powerslave lands a body punch. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Powerslave. Bashor misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Powerslave.
Bashor is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Powerslave is defending well for now. Bashor tries to land a knee to the head but Powerslave blocks with his arms.
Powerslave tries to circle away but Bashor has him pinned against the cage. Bashor has Powerslave pressed against the cage.

Powerslave breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Powerslave lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. This has been an exciting period of action! Powerslave with a hook. No joy there for Powerslave, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A lazy left from Powerslave finds it's target. Powerslave lands the left hand. Powerslave gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Bashor wants to clinch up but Powerslave keeps it at a distance. Powerslave lands a lovely overhand right. Powerslave works the jab nicely. Powerslave throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Powerslave lands a big right hand that sends Bashor crashing to the mat! Powerslave stays standing though and waves Bashor back to his feet!
Bashor is rocked! Powerslave throws a nice inside leg kick. Oh Bashor is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Powerslave ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Bashor out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Eddie Powerslave! Eddie Powerslave very nearly forgot to thank Kemists ↑ 5x160Q amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name.
