Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Edward Durden (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jon Moxley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Durden comes to the cage accompanied by Monster. Moxley has chosen Welcome to the Masquerade - Thousand Foot Krutch as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moxley closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Durden did well to prevent Moxley getting side control. Moxley stops Durden from getting back to his feet.
Moxley is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The fighters are battling for position here. Durden manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Durden is looking to stand up but Moxley isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Moxley pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Durden is keeping the position for now. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Durden is on top in guard.
Our spies down at at Main Event Gym inform us that Moxley has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Moxley working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Durden. Moxley pushes Durden off and scrambles back to his feet.
Moxley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Durden pinned against the cage. Durden gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's one minute gone in the round. Moxley shoots in and drives through. Durden sprawls well. Durden looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Moxley! Moxley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Durden is controlling him well. Durden throws a strike aimed at the side of Moxley's head but Moxley avoids it well. Moxley defending against the ground and pound. Moxley is trying to get back to his feet. Durden throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Moxley is pushing Durden's head away, looking to escape. Durden manages to hold on to the position though. Durden looking to punish the body of his opponent here but Moxley is avoiding damage well.
Moxley sneaks out the side door and pushes Durden away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Durden scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Durden trying to control the position but Moxley is working away. Moxley wants to get back to his feet. Durden wants to lay and pray for a moment but Moxley keeps working. Durden scores with punches from side control. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Moxley is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Durden asserts his dominance and retains side control. An elbow from Durden crashes against the mat.
Moxley is trying to buck Durden off.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Durden working the head with strikes. Durden prevents Moxley from escaping the position. Durden tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Moxley tries to escape but Durden is in control. Durden looks up at the clock and then as Moxley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Durden smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Durden in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Moxley is pushing Durden's head away, looking to escape. Durden manages to hold on to the position though. Moxley avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Durden.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Moxley pushes Durden away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Durden gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Moxley is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Durden landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Durden working the ground and pound. Durden creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Durden misses with an attempted head punch from side control. Durden looks up at the clock and then as Moxley takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Durden smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Moxley is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Durden is controlling him well. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Moxley parries the strikes from Durden easily there. Durden is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Moxley to escape.
Durden lands an elbow. Durden in side control, just content to control the action for now. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Edward Durden dominated that round. That's time! Durden's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Moxley fails with a takedown attempt. Durden looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Moxley pushes Durden off looking to stand but Durden dives back in and keeps control.
Durden working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that. Moxley is looking to escape. Ground and pound from Durden.
That's one minute gone in the round. Durden is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound. Durden missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Moxley wants to get back to his feet.
Durden throwing shots but Moxley is blocking nicely. Durden is keen to just control but Moxley is a slippery customer. Durden is working for a kimura but Moxley is defending it quite comfortably.
Moxley has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Durden is on him like a limpet, forcing Moxley back against the cage. Durden is defending well against a takedown attempt. Moxley has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Durden clear over his head and slammed him to the mat! Moxley keeps control of the position as Durden tries to break free.
That's two minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Durden avoids the strikes from Moxley. Can Durden hold on?! Moxley is landing more strikes to his hapless foe.
Durden has the hand control, trying to stop the rear naked choke. Moxley is landing with strikes. Durden can't take much more of this. Moxley struggling to land strikes to the head as Durden covers up. Moxley patiently working for the choke. Which fighter will keep their nerve here? Moxley lands with a couple of good shots - one to the side of the head and one questionable shot that could be viewed as to the back of the head but the referee lets it go.
Durden avoids the strikes from Moxley. Moxley is hanging on to Durden's back as he tries to escape.
Moxley has got one arm under Durden's chin. This could be trouble... Durden trying to control the other hand but Moxley gets it free and sqeezes tight - just a matter of time now! Yep, Durden has tapped out! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jon Moxley! After the fight, Jon Moxley was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
