The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Garcilazo is looking to land body kicks.
Star throws a right hand that misses
and Garcilazo counters with a head kick that drops Star to the mat! Star scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Star swings for the body but Garcilazo moves out of range.
Garcilazo moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
A good leg kick by Star.
Garcilazo misses with an attempted mid kick.
Star does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Nice uppercut there from Star.
Star cracks the inside of Garcilazo's front leg.
Star looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Star throws a low kick but it's checked well by Garcilazo.
Garcilazo wants to land a leg kick but Star is out of range.
Star lands a nice hook to Garcilazo's body. Garcilazo takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Garcilazo is breathing heavily.
Garcilazo blocks a low kick nicely.
Oooh a lovely combination from Star sends Garcilazo down but not out. Star dives into side control looking to finish.
It looks like Martin Garcilazo has been cut.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Star wants to stand but Garcilazo is controlling his arm.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Star controls the position.
Star stands up.
Star throws a lazy right hand but Garcilazo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Patrick Star seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Garcilazo tries to work over Star's front leg with a kick but Star checks it.
Garcilazo checks a leg kick nicely.
Star stuns Garcilazo with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Star throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Garcilazo tumbling to the canvas!
Garcilazo is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Star stands and steps away. Garcilazo gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Oh Garcilazo is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Garcilazo circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Star. Garcilazo falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Star!
