Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Abou Ba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and The Island King (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Abou Ba! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
15 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, The Island King! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Aafke Stam and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ba misses with the combination.
King gets tackled into the cage by Ba. Ba maintains the clinch. King prevents a body shot from Ba. Ba tries to land knees in the clinch but King avoids the damage to the body. Ba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ba tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. King gets tackled into the cage by Ba. Ba maintains the clinch. Ba is defending well against a takedown attempt. Ba has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Ba decides to pull guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ba is on top in guard.
King tries to land a sweep but no joy. King is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Ba gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ba wants to clinch. Ba takes the fight into the clinch. Ba manages to break the clinch.
A looping hook to the body misses from Ba. King does a little dance to reset his feet. King keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Ba gets in close and instigates a clinch. Ba breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ba rushes King and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ba decides to pull guard. Ba wriggles free and stands up. Ba tries to clinch there but King circles away.
Ba bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ba decides to stand back up. Ba connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
It looks like The Island King has been cut. Ba throws a series of punches but King moves out of range. Ba rushes King and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. King goes for a takedown attempt but Ba pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Ba tries to close the distance and clinch but King swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. King tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Ba defends well and King ends up having to push Ba into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Abou Ba has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of The Island King. Ba escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Ba forces King back against the cage and clinches. King is working for takedown but Ba is calmly controlling the position for now. Ba breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ba clinches. Ba will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning King up against the cage. Ba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ba looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. King keeps the fight on the outside. Abou Ba seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ba wants to clinch but King slips to the side and King counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Ba trying to hold on to King's head to control him but King postures up.
King thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Ba's head. King wants to work for an arm triangle but Ba is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Ba gets back to full guard.
King trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. King trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Ba trying to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Abou Ba dominated that round. The cut man is working on The Island King's cut. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
A slow jab from Ba misses its intended target. Abou Ba is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Ba has closed the distance and engaged King in a clinch.
Ba's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Ba throws a low kick but King moves out of range easily. Ba looking to score a takedown here. King is defending well but Ba drives through and ends up in King's guard. Ba sitting in guard here, content to control. Ba wanted to stand there but King had control of the position. King looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Ba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Ba wants to get up but he can't break King's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. King throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
That's one minute gone in the round. King is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. King has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Ba should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, King has tightened it up now! Ba should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). The Island King! The Island King decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
