With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mono Moreno!
The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moon takes a kick to the side of the head.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Moreno lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Moon circles away quickly and effectively.
Moreno rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Moon moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Moon shoots in and bounces Moreno off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Moon in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.

Moon drops down looking for an ankle pick but Moreno pulls his leg out and moves away.

Moon has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Moreno avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch but Moon swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Moon jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Moreno walks away with a smile on his face. Moon gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Moreno tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Moon paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Moreno closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Moreno breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Moon tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Moreno just stands there and leans against the cage.

A nice glancing elbow lands by Moreno.

Moreno pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Moreno moves in looking to clinch but Moon pushes him off.
Moreno lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.

and Moon counters with a three punch combo that has Moreno backing up. Moreno nods at Moon to acknowledge the strikes.

Moreno pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Moon shoots in looking for a takedown but Moreno manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Moon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

No luck for Moon with that takedown attempt.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Moreno throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Moons head.

Mono Moreno comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Moreno has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
