Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Josh Jaeger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dwayne Austin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Josh Jaeger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dwayne Austin! The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Chad Campbell and John Roberts.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaeger throws a right hand that Austin ducks under and follows up with a left that Austin also avoids with ease. Austin shoots in for a double leg but Jaeger sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Jaeger doesn't succeed with the takedown and Austin counters with a single leg into guard. Jaeger didn't expect that. Austin stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jaeger swivels though and keeps the full guard. Austin must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Austin trying to move into half guard but instead Jaeger has managed to sweep! Jaeger won't allow Austin to get back to his feet. Jaeger trying to control but Austin is working from the bottom. Austin is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Jaeger tries to free his leg and advance position but Austin is retaining full guard. Jaeger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin is pulling down on Jaeger's head. It's preventing any offense from Jaeger, at least for the moment.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Jaeger lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Jaeger fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Austin sprawls well initially but Jaeger persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Austin is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Austin looks gassed! Jaeger looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Austin is looking to control Jaeger's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Austin avoid being mounted? Jaeger is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaeger is working for a submission of some sort.
Austin is trying to maintain the position but Jaeger is very close to passing his half guard.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Austin misses with a takedown and Jaeger counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Austin is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Jaeger drops back, looking for a kneebar! Austin looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Austin looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Austin!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Austin looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Jaeger regains half guard. Austin wants to stand but his hand is trapped. Jaeger uses the opportunity to regain full guard. Austin thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Josh Jaeger dominated that round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
Jaeger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Austin counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Jaeger's guard now. Austin stands and throws Jaeger's legs to the side, diving into side control. Jaeger is looking for a sweep. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Jaeger is trying to control Austin's posture but Austin avoids it. Jaeger is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Austin's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Austin prevents Jaeger from improving his position. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Austin is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen.
That's one minute gone in the round. Austin throws a strike but Jaeger avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Jaeger working a defensive guard here.
Austin is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Austin postures up.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Austin trying to control but Jaeger is working from the bottom. Austin looking to pass the guard. Jaeger working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Austin doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Austin manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Austin passes Jaeger's left leg - he's now in half guard. Austin not doing much here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jaeger looks like he's trying to stand up.
Austin stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being. Austin fails with the takedown and Jaeger decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Austin's guard. Austin keeping full guard, as Jaeger tries to pass. Austin is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but Jaeger frees his head nicely. Oh but Austin has switched to an armbar! Jaeger is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
