Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between AL Lickertwat (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sly Randolph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
19 - 14 - 1, fighting out of New York, AL Lickertwat! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
40 - 20 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Sly Randolph! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Phil Schofield and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Randolph throws a big shot that misses. Randolph dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Lickertwat. That did some damage! Randolph throws out a loose jab but Lickertwat uses good head movement to avoid it. Nice defenses there by Lickertwat. Randolph lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Lickertwat misses with a looping right. Randolph misses with a body shot.
Lickertwat looks to score with a jab to the body but Randolph is just out of range. Randolph missing with a left hand there. Lickertwat was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Randolph throws the left hand but Lickertwat avoids the punch easily. Lickertwat with a jab. Lickertwat misses with a straight right. Lickertwat swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Lickertwat steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Randolph. Lickertwat connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Randolph drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Randolph pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Lickertwat dives in and grabs Randolph's left leg, looking for a takedown. Randolph pushes down on Lickertwat's head and hops out.
That's one minute gone in the round. Randolph loads up on a big right hand but Lickertwat slips the punch. Randolph takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Lickertwat thows a left - swing and a miss! Lickertwat throws a body kick but he wasn't in range. A shot to the liver by Randolph. Beautiful body shot. A punch lands to the side of Randolph 's head but he takes it in his stride. Randolph attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin. Randolph bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Lickertwat moves away from the strike by Randolph. Randolph throws a lazy head kick and Lickertwat counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Lickertwat. Lickertwat has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Lickertwat trying to control but Randolph is working from the bottom. Randolph wants to sweep here but Lickertwat controlling him for the moment. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Randolph keeping moving, preventing Lickertwat from controlling successfully.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat lands a couple of elbows. Lickertwat works over Randolph with some ground and pound from guard. Randolph is pulling down on Lickertwat's head to control his posture. Lickertwat preventing the sweep. Randolph keeping moving, preventing Lickertwat from controlling successfully. Lickertwat is working Randolph over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Randolph looking for a sweep. Not yet Randolph, not yet. Randolph is still trying to improve position. Lickertwat got a little sloppy there for a moment and Randolph has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Lickertwat has managed to get both his arms back between Randolph's legs - danger averted. Lickertwat postures up in Randolph's guard and throws a big left but Randolph blocks it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat wants to control from the top but Randolph keeps moving. Randolph lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard. Randolph stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lickertwat swivels though and keeps the full guard. Lickertwat seems keen to control Randolph's posture. Randolph got a little sloppy there for a moment and Lickertwat has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Randolph has managed to get both his arms back between Lickertwat's legs - danger averted. Lickertwat controls Randolph momentarily but Randolph frees himself. Lickertwat tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat is trying to control the position but Randolph postures up. Randolph slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Lickertwat utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Randolph throws a big elbow that misses. Lickertwat manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Randolph manages to get himself to full guard.
Lickertwat has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Randolph is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Randolph keeping moving, preventing Lickertwat from controlling successfully. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that AL Lickertwat will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action!
Lickertwat ducks under a wild hook from Randolph. Randolph on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Randolph scores with a hook to the body. Lickertwat takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Lickertwat looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Randolph! Randolph is looking to reverse the position. Lickertwat in side control lands a decent elbow. Lickertwat cracks Randolph with a big elbow. Randolph is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Randolph manages to get back to half guard. Randolph makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Randolph. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Randolph working for a triangle but Lickertwat defends it easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lickertwat controlling from the top position. Lickertwat connects with a couple of short punches. Randolph wants to sweep here but Lickertwat controlling him for the moment. Lickertwat trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Randolph wants to sweep but no luck. Lickertwat scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Randolph wants to sweep here but Lickertwat controlling him for the moment. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat looking to pass the guard. Lickertwat slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Lickertwat advances to full mount. Randolph felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Randolph is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Lickertwat dominating with strikes here. This has been an exciting period of action! Lickertwat postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Randolph looks a forlorn figure.
Randolph bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done! Lickertwat is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat is controlling Randolph's posture. Randolph tries to free his leg and advance position but Lickertwat is retaining full guard. Randolph preventing the sweep. Lickertwat keeping full guard, as Randolph tries to pass. Lickertwat looking to hit a scissor sweep but Randolph is one step ahead there. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Randolph tries to free his leg and advance position but Lickertwat is retaining full guard. Lickertwat looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat is trying to keep Randolph in close.
Lickertwat pulls Randolph in close to his closed guard and prevents Randolph from doing any damage or advancing position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of AL Lickertwat. Randolph blocks a jab. Lickertwat uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Randolph. Randolph will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Lickertwat moves out of range as Randolph strikes. Sly Randolph is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Lickertwat throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Randolph swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Lickertwat tries a low kick but Randolph avoids it. Lickertwat throws a leg kick but Randolph sees it coming and checks it nicely. Lickertwat checks the leg kick. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
AL Lickertwat dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
Lickertwat thumps Randolph with a low kick. Randolph closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. A combination from Randolph does no damage. Randolph throws the left hand but Lickertwat avoids the punch easily. Lickertwat misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Lickertwat lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Randolph backs up against the cage.
Randolph waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Lickertwat. Randolph works the jab nicely. Randolph looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice uppercut lands for Randolph. That snapped Lickertwat's head back.
Randolph misses with a hook. Lickertwat ducked under it nicely. A swing and a miss from Lickertwat. Randolph throws a body punch but Lickertwat moves out of range. Lickertwat swinging wildly here.

Lickertwat checks a leg kick. Lickertwat pushes Randolph away with a front kick. Lickertwat waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Randolph. Randolph pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Randolph fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Lickertwat looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath. Lickertwat's jab looks to have found its range, popping Randolph under the eye. Randolph dodges the punch combination from Lickertwat.
Randolph throws a low kick, looking for Lickertwat's leg but Lickertwat calmly moves out of range. Randolph throws a leg kick but Lickertwat sees it coming and moves out of range. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Randolph!
It looks like AL Lickertwat has been cut. Lickertwat changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Randolph looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Randolph looking for a sweep but Lickertwat has passed into full mount! Oh no! Lickertwat is landing with some decent strikes but Randolph is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Sly Randolph has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Randolph is looking to get to half guard. Lickertwat pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Lickertwat connects with a couple of good shots from mount.

Randolph is still in real trouble! Can Lickertwat finish him? Lickertwat looking to control but Randolph is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Lickertwat lands a couple of good shots and Randolph has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Randolph is trying to remain composed but Lickertwat is hammering down strikes to the side of his head. Lickertwat has the hooks in. Randolph is trying to push off one leg but he has to do so cautiously to avoid being submitted. Randolph seems to have recovered his senses. Watch the back of the head! Comes the shout from the referee towards Lickertwat.
Lickertwat is looking for a choke. Randolph gets to his feet with his opponent on his back and slams him to the mat. Randolph manages to squirm out of the attempted choke and turns into his opponent's guard. Lickertwat pulls Randolph in close to prevent any damage. Lickertwat is trying to control the position but Randolph postures up. AL Lickertwat is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Randolph accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Lickertwat has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Randolph can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Lickertwat keeping moving, preventing Randolph from controlling successfully. Randolph keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Lickertwat's head. This has been an exciting period of action! Lickertwat is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Lickertwat tries to land a sweep but no joy. Randolph throwing strikes but missing.
And that's the end of the fight! AL Lickertwat showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Lickertwat, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

In favor of your winner, by unanimous decision... AL Lickertwat! After the fight, AL Lickertwat was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
