Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Eliseo Carpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Conner Britian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Eliseo Carpenter! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Conner Britian! The judges for this bout are Colin Fotheringham, Steven Brown and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Britian closes the distance and clinches. Britian trying to control the position but instead, Carpenter has worked for underhooks and has pushed Britian into the cage. Carpenter pulls guard. Britian trying to control but Carpenter is working from the bottom. Britian throwing strikes but missing. Carpenter wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Britian trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Carpenter keeping moving, preventing Britian from controlling successfully. Britian looking to pass the guard.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Conner Britian was stalling too much, according to the referee. Carpenter shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Britian misses with a combination
and Carpenter counters with a shoot takedown. Britian fights it but they end up in guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Carpenter controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Britian avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Carpenter slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard. The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
We're going to have a standup here because Eliseo Carpenter wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Britian misses with a double jab
and Carpenter counters with an inside leg kick. Britian throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carpenter counters with a nice double leg into side control. Britian won't be happy with that. Carpenter controls the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Carpenter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. Carpenter throws a strike aimed at the side of Britian's head but Britian avoids it well. Carpenter stands up. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Britian throws a combination that misses and Carpenter counters with a nice double leg into guard. Britian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Carpenter with a flurry of punches that miss. Carpenter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Britian wants to get back to his feet but Carpenter is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Britian looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Carpenter postures up and lands a big shot to Britian's brow. Carpenter won't allow Britian to get back to his feet. Carpenter controls from within his opponent's guard.
Eliseo Carpenter has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Britian slaps away a takedown attempt from Carpenter, before circling back to the center of the mat. Britian throws a lazy body kick and Carpenter counters with a thumping low kick. Britian throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Carpenter gets the takedown into side control. Britian avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carpenter. Carpenter stands up and we're back to a striking position. Britian gets off balance looking for a body kick and Carpenter counters with a low kick, right behind Britian 's knee. Britian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Carpenter back to the cage. Britian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.
It looks like Eliseo Carpenter has been cut. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Britian throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Britian throws a body kick but he was well out of range there. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Carpenter showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Britian.
Britian looks winded! Carpenter bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Eliseo Carpenter dominated that round. The cut man is working on Eliseo Carpenter's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Britian throws a left and a right that both miss
and Carpenter counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Britian misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Britian lands with a hook. Carpenter tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.
Carpenter is rocked! A thudding body kick lands there by Britian!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Britian misses with a series of wild punches.
Carpenter is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Britian moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:27 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Conner Britian!
