Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jerrell Young!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dameus Parks!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Shimada, Kenichi Hosakawa and Taro Takaoka.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Parks closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Young quickly recovers to half guard.
Young wants to control but Parks is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Parks has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Young uses from the top position.

Young is looking to work some ground and pound but Parks has wrist control.
Young seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Young will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Young stands up over Parks, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

Dameus Parks showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Young enables Parks to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Young manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

Parks decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.

Young kicks off Parks and gets to his feet.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Parks sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Young is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.

Dameus Parks comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Parks has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
