Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ferdinand Acevedo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Trent Mullins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Ferdinand Acevedo! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Trent Mullins! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, John Roberts and Dean Styles.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mullins gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mullins on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.
Mullins prevents a takedown attempt there.
Acevedo really is a fat lump. Mullins tries to break the clinch but Acevedo is controlling the position. Mullins tries to break free but Acevedo pushes him back against the cage. Mullins escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Mullins looks for a takedown but Acevedo sprawls well. Mullins bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Acevedo's head backwards. A low kick from Mullins is predictable there and Acevedo counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Mullins's guard now. Acevedo throws a big elbow that misses. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Mullins looking to hit a scissor sweep but Acevedo is one step ahead there. Acevedo throwing strikes from guard but Mullins blocks nicely.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mullins isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Acevedo stacks Mullins on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Acevedo! Mullins is trying to work for a sweep but Acevedo has mounted him! Mullins tries to buck Acevedo off but he can't manage it. Mullins keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Mullins is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Acevedo looking to finish Mullins with some ground and pound. This is bad for Mullins!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Acevedo lands with some strikes. Acevedo landing punches. Mullins really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Acevedo has control of Mullins's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Mullins regains control of the situation pretty easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Mullins sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Mullins trying to control from the bottom.

Acevedo decides to return to a standing position. Acevedo avoids the head kick by Mullins.
Acevedo pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Mullins rushes Acevedo and presses him up against the cage. Acevedo drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Mullins pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mullins misses with the combination.
Mullins has closed the distance and engaged Acevedo in a clinch.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ferdinand Acevedo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Acevedo works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Mullins working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Acevedo. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Acevedo gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. No joy there for Mullins, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Ferdinand Acevedo dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Mullins feints a jab promting Acevedo to slip. Mullins then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Acevedo slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
It looks like Ferdinand Acevedo has been cut. Mullins scores with a one two! Acevedo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Mullins throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Mullins connects with a single shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mullins avoids the head kick by Acevedo.
Nice uppercut there from Mullins.
Acevedo is rocked! Acevedo moves to clinch but Mullins breaks away and Mullins counters with a big left hand that crumples Acevedo! He was out before he hit the floor! Brutal knockout!
